ETIQUETTE -Include correct format (artist / band, title of release, year of release, cover art, the file type (v0, 320 mp3, FLAC, etc), short description, YouTube sample, link) - Send thanks if you have downloaded something to let them know they did a good thing - Avoid sharing / requesting things that are already on the archive - Soulseek /rutracker are your friends, too - just don't argue in this thread about it
REQUESTS >I have a request! Did I... - Check the archive for a live link before requesting? - Check the pastebin to see if it was in a discography or essentials folder? - Share something first? - google "blogspot + artist name + album name"
>I don't have anything to share! - Have a Goodwill, thrift store or library in your area? Try picking up the most obscure thing you can find there and share it. Somebody might be happy you shared it!
ARCHIVE >"I don't know how to find what I'm looking for in the archive" - Go here: >>>>>>>>>>>archive.rebeccablacktech.com/mu/ - When searching, limit your search to links only, like so: "desired album mega|zippyshare|mediafire" - Make sure you've typed "zippyshare" and not "zippy", or else Zippyshare links will not be found. - No samples available on Youtube, Soundcloud, etc? Drag'n'drop any MP3 on clyp.it
Posting this again because of changes, and I found a new B-Side.
Everything Everything - Treasure Set >Art Rock, Indie Pop, Indie Rock >Collection of B-Sides and Remixes by Everything Everything. Many B-Sides are from singles from Arc while are a few are extras from Man Alive, while the rest are demos, unreleased tracks, and covers. >Second folder composed of remixes by Everything Everything, typically electronic heavy and use heavy vocal sampling. Definitely integrates the band's sound into whatever (typically pop) songs they remix. Bonus tracks from Get To Heaven and Arc aren't included because those are easy to find.
if it were deleted it would show a 404 rather than being archived
Jaxson Robinson
are you new? that thread died on its own and got archived (by Sup Forums's archive, not the unofficial one). if the mods had deleted it, it would redirect you to the 404 page.
OP of the last thread here, I literally could not sucking dicks to realize that people would sometimes post the titles as "Share thread" instead of "Sharethread"
Julian Sanchez
anyone have a 320 link to Bill Evans- Some Other Time: the Lost Session from the Black Forest ?
Matthew Jones
>I literally could not sucking dicks to realize that
..what?
Benjamin Thomas

Cherub - Year of the Caprese >Electrofunk, Synthpop, Disco
idk dude, it's been down for me for a good couple of days now. Something abt their security certificate, I think.
Matthew Ramirez

The Sup Forums Kids - Randomly Generated Genres: A Tale of Three Numbers >album made of songs by Sup Forums users in a thread today >genres were generated with a roll image >some of it is not so bad
Criticisms include: >First and last track the best... well done I guess? >I unironically like Minimal Punk Rock, should I just off myself now?
A project of mine here >Aphex Twin - Selected Ambient Works Vol II (Complete) >Ambient Basically it's the SAW II album structured like the UK vinyl, with the (Stone In Focus) track inserted in the tracklisting. The titles of the track are their track number (IE. A1, A2), and each track has a high quality scan of each image that represents it embedded as the cover. There's also a folder.jpeg of the album cover, which will override the embedded images in Foobar, but if you want to see the images instead of the album cover, you can delete the folder.jpeg >Encoded at V 73 (144kbs) AAC It's ambient so you can get away with lower bitrates www28.zippyshare.com/v/TBOAvA5E/file.html

Komara -s/t >Industrial jazz...I guess? Not nearly as neckbeardy as you'd think. Gets p spoop at parts too. Robert Fripp was a big part of this also so you know it's good.
Joy Division - Warsaw (Bootleg) >Punk, Post-Punk Bootleg that's been floating around for awhile, early Joy Division recordings when they were called "Warsaw". A lot of demos of tracks from An Ideal For Living and Unknown Pleasures. The CD I have came with some bonus tracks, but I've removed them and just kept the original album. >FLAC www92.zippyshare.com/v/n2XFNlV0/file.html
The Prodigy - Music For The Voodoo Crew (Bootleg) >Big Beat Russian bootleg CD, sourced from three shows from 92, 94, and 95. Pretty nice sounding >V 100 AAC www104.zippyshare.com/v/rMHz2Bde/file.html
2010 - Hewers of Wood and Drawers of Water >Apocalyptic folk-rock, they ditched their softer neofolk stuff for the most part here. Think O'Death but not made by nasally hipsters.
2012 - Weltundergangsstimmung >They ditch the acoustics and go full synth. Somehow still kinda retains the same sound but more minimalist and darkwave-y. Their best IMO.
/r/ing Boundless And Star Struck – A Lesson In Celebration. Not on Soulseek, not anywhere really. I've shared tons in the past; my last shares were two Sonora Pine albums.

Requesting: Upstream Color OST, All the links in the archive are dead

Sharetheads have gone WAYYY downhill in a the past year. It's really sad when not even a fourth of the posts in the thread are shares and the thread is 80% requests and shitposting. I think it might be because of the OP copypasta implying that it's ok to request. Requests shouldn't be allowed in sharethreads at all. There should be seperate request threads.
No doubt someone will point out that my complaining isn't helping anything and that it would help if I posted some shares myself. Well I've shared plenty in the past but I just can't bring myself to help support these threads anymore. They just keep getting worse and worse.
Posting again b/c I need help keeping these links active. About twenty of these shares expire in about two weeks. Please download! P2P is a bad idea if you're living on campus.

why you don't use mediafire or mega (or another hosting site more reliable like oboom) instead?
