not even memeing but please, you first

...

The Seer, Replica, Sun Bat Her, To Pimp a Butterfly, MBDTF, Carrie & Lowell all come to mind.
I don't think I'd say something that just came out this year could be considered a classic yet.

It sucks how nowadays on Sup Forums. you can't bring this album up on a good light without being called B8.

fuck off
there is something called an "instant classic"
great album, it's that it's dick has been sucked so much so Sup Forums instantly hates it
>getgetgetgetgotgotgotgot
:^)

Boredoms: Vision Creation Newsun
Oneohtrix Point Never: R + 7
Danny Brown XXX

...

Joanna Newsom - Have One On Me

get the FUCK OUT

>it's an "invalidate an album by greentexting a hook" thread

Oh

Just as easy to make this a poll tbqh

rkursem.com/poll/view.php?id=e77d5ef01f4aa22dd

>instant classic
It was a good album but it hasn't been discussed, praised, and dissected the same way the other "Sup Forumscore" albums have. There were some threads when it came out but it's not the center of attention like The Glowing Man is. Just because you really like it doesn't make it a classic.

You do realize that I love that album right?

Instant Classic
1.) Referring to something being "extravagantly awesome".
2.) The nickname of the greatest, most charismatic professional wrestler in recent memory, TNA Wrestling's Christian Cage.
1.) Dude, Terminator 2 was an Instant Classic!
2.) "The Instant Classic" Christian Cage is a two-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion!

The Ark Work

MPP cmon mate one year

this album kinda sucked desu

so boring and unadventurous

Good luck trying to convince most critics and RYM that

no

def To Pimp A Butterfly, AcidRap, Carrie and Lowell, A Moon Shaped Pool, Blackstar

...

stop

None of them, this decade sucks

BORN IN THE WRONG GENERASHUN

...

Well why don't you just fucking timewarp yourself out of here ya cunt

I can't remember any other instance of incessant memes and spam dropping off so quickly

real answer

Do people still seriously listen to Radiohead or lame hipster shit in general? I haven't met anyone who does since like 2008 and I live in Portland, you guys are all either highschoolers or beta forever alone faggots

Listen to some real music like Barter 6

seriously though.

this album is the standard that all "neo-Kanye" albums are held. It's the album that cemented his legacy in the pop culture consciousness. this is the album that critics can't stop raving about, even 6 years after it's release.

this is definitive Kanye, and definitely a definitive classic of this generation

"listen to some real music" is generally a hipster line mate

...

Why would I bother over what critics or RYM think

...

...

Sure, I can agree.

also can agree

or GKMC, doesnt matter, 2010 OKC/KIDA debate all over again

lol

little too short

why?

*yawn*

that's not even his best album (2) and even that is no where near being a "classic" just a staple for that genre.

MOAR SO I CAN TELL YOU YOU'RE WRONG

Ha! Tripfag

>four seperate votes for NLDW

I'm counting dupes now, fuck it

...

terrible post friendo

...

/thread

reminder that obscure hipster albums will probably not be considered "classics"

...

Guessing this is more of a "Sup Forumscore circa 2010–2016" chart than anything else although I know you're just baiting

Here's what the few votes have gotten so far

...

Lmao if someone like me can only name three of those albums then you don't have a very good modern classics list. Plus is that a penis on that top right album? Please.

...

please be a troll please be a troll

>votes only for the first four
>nldw gets added every time it updates

u got a proxy, bro
poll discarded
if you can only name three of those albums "someone like you" should fuck off

Twenty One Pilots' PR team at it again

Like Clockwork. I could see No Now becoming a cult classic.

i still need to listen to this

>Blackstar
>little too short

R + 7 is ok but nah
XXX maybe
don't you have 7th grade algebra homework to be doing
definitely
i'd include it in like The Most Memorable Albums of the '10s but i wouldn't call it an essential
absolutely

are you hipsters actually defending unknown albums and albums with penises on them? ive had encounters with people like you before and from my experience the music you guys like is just plain weird. ive argued with many like you and they have always tried to make me listen to a few of the songs they liked and its always been a bunch of CRAP. ive learned my lesson and im not gonna listen to even a second of the music from that thumbnail picture.

Adopt a trip so I can filter your underage ass

RYM has it at like what a 3.85 or something? Pretty fair even tho its like a 3 or 3.5 for me

For reference OKC and Kid A are like just above 4.20 (>dude) and IR is just under 4

TKOL is 3.3 even tho it's their best, but hey most radiohead fans are massive plebs

R+7, The Seer, Plowing into the Field of Love, Gloss Drop, Age of Adz are my favs

mbdtf, the seer, have one on me

...

BTW I think as a massive Radiohead fan that the acclaim and regard for literally everything they did post Kid A will drop off pretty heavily, stuff like In Rainbows, Amnesiac, and A Moon Shaped Pool won't be looked back on as classics IMO, even though that's still some of my most treasured music ever.

...

Essential

Kid A is the only Radiohead album that really matters anyway

>generic pop punk mislabelled as "emo"
>"classic"
"no"

how is plowing to the field of love a classic?

Cosmogramma
Channel Orange
Good Kid M.a.ad. City
To Pimp a Butterfly
XXX
Trap Lord
Virgins
Acid Rap
The Money Store
Cocaine Piñata
DS2
James Blake
Yeezus
My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy (maybe)
Barter 6

idk what else, i kinda stopped paying attention

Absolutely love this record!

Elder - Lore

Every single album represented by the artwork ITT is absolute garbage.

why don't you list some albums then?

Brought to you by: a tripfag

Unknown albums? Are you 8? If you've been present in the music scene past 4 years you would know these albums

>Trap Lord
>Acid Rap
>DS2
>Barter 6
all forgettable memerap
the others on the list might stand though

Fuck off

objectively the greatest album of the 2010s
anyone who thinks otherwise is a pleb

Sure here's 1 to start with
lol

most certainly

...

The Seer as well

...

This for me. Not too many listened to the album, but it's a solid fucking album. Will listen to it end on end, great shit.

>160x160

christ almighty Sup Forums has shit taste

these albums will be 'classics' in the same way that Nevermind is a 'classic' today.

I know some people are divided on this album, but I think it's poignant and honest enough lyrically to be very memorable.

That and Benji.

>falling for the b8

>>>NEW POLL

this and

Not sure if it will be considered a classic but I feel like this album will be quite influential in the future of extreme music.

>Idler Wheel
fuck yes
A lot of shit albums in there though
The Archandroid is good enough to be a classic but I fear it has already been forgotten.

Definitely

fuck no

One of my favorite bands for sure.

Nah.

why is there another thread up for this?
better choices too btw

lol no

that album and father john misty as a whole will be COMPLETELY forgotten about in less than two years

yes

No Love Deep Web isn't even in my top 5 death grips let alone a modern classic. The Money Store though. The Seer was better than To Be Kind.

It may not be their best work, but I believe it will hold up over time.

I was just going to mention In Colour. I was wondering why it hadn't come up yet. Also XX is already a modern classic but that's 2009
