Hello, everyone. Since the last poll was really biased because many albums weren't even listed since the beginning, this is the list with all the albums that got 1% or more in the last vote -- FEEL FREE to add any other album you want.
Let's finally decide what the majority of Sup Forumstants consider to be our essential, core albums.
Literally no one has heard of this and it's from this year so you know it's not relevant
fuck off
Bentley Myers
0.02 is memecore
Christian Nelson
>6 of the top 8 albums are all death grips Now that's fucking disgusting
Julian Fisher
i think it got haxed by a gripsfag
Caleb Martinez
and look at how many ties are there in OP's poll, kek
Brayden Martin
The top albums are not surprising, mostly memes
Andrew Miller
Spiderland isn't discussed that much lately, glad to see it going strong.
Kevin White
...
Jacob Powell
>2 death grips albums check again m8
Carson Peterson
I had to lock adding new options because some "funny" idiot added Government Plates 50 times, sorry friends
Juan Clark
Can't find Deakin's album! fuck! a link maybe?
Sebastian Sanchez
...
Camden Ortiz
>blonde on blonde only has 6 votes you people make me sick
Lincoln Gray
let's bring it to the top
VOTE
Isaac Rodriguez
>OP fails again, just like last time
Mason Kelly
kek
Mason Richardson
Sup Forums-core cannot be voted into existence It just happens
Christopher Wood
>what is democracy
Jeremiah Parker
good but not Sup Forumscore
Bentley Nguyen
meme chart
Brandon Diaz
Not really, looks like standard Sup Forums-circlejerk
Kayden Moore
why is this up to a vote? some brexit referendum bullshit
Blake Taylor
It's good that a democratic poll has finally been made and it just goes to show how charts like this one are misleading.
In the Court of the Crimson King is here under Sup Forumscore and it's not even in top 15 in the poll, Hospice, Funeral and Untrue which are sub-Sup Forumscore aren't even in the top 30, Deathconsciousness is not even on the list (!), Spiderland isn't even in the sub-Sup Forumscore and it is third in the poll etc., etc., etc.
This poll clears many things up. When there is enough votes, an official chart should be made.
Jose Jenkins
disgusting
Easton Cruz
>a loose Sup Forumscore canon was just tacitly agreed upon for almost a decade >neo-Sup Forums decides we need to make polls and vote for what should be included now this is the most reddit shit I've ever seen here
Brayden Clark
if by "agreed upon" you mean "proponents of that album spammed it very frequently" then yes, it was 'agreed upon'
Colton Watson
Well this one has results pretty similar to the old one
Jackson Reyes
Memetic nature is exactly what has always caused albums to be considered Sup Forumscore.
Now you want to basically vote on what our favorite memes should be, as some kind of self-appointed Sup Forums "community manager." It's reddit shit, get out of here
Luis Perry
>I don't agree with an idea >it's reddit shit!
Easton Sanchez
Here is reddit's list of albums kek
Xavier Morgan
Kek, just compare what is considered to be classics on this list to what is considered to be classics on this list >90s are so old! those are the classics!
ahhh, reddit
Andrew Sullivan
I'm not making a bogeyman argument, I'm saying it's exactly the sort of thing that would be done by newfags who come from a place like reddit. They're not used to the decentralized, transient nature of everything here, and see a need to impose "structure", "leadership", and "order" on what they perceive as unstable. It's vain bullshit. wew
Andrew Mitchell
Strawpolls appear often on Sup Forums and are part of its culture, so polling is not that unusual. As for "structure" and "order" and that, that's true.
Logan Young
that's literally Sup Forums's list
Blake James
'indieheads' smdh why does the current mu/core chart even need changing? this is needless. and if we are serious about 'voting' for the chart, get the mods to sticky some sort of voting thread, and keep it up for a fucking week or something.
Christian Foster
This is a proof that reddit and Sup Forums have the same user base.
Aaron Hall
there are lots of impromptu strawpolls, sure, but it's cancerous to take an establish board tradition that worked on informal consensus and turn it into a formal voting system
next we should elect certain tripfags as our community leaders and give them the power to declare new Sup Forumscore albums and intervene to resolve all arguments of taste
I assume OP's used to be a redditor and wants to make an impact at his new 'home' :)
This kind of thread has become common recently, and as we all know, reddit influx is at an all time high.
Dylan Richardson

Juan Cox
>it just goes to show how charts like this one are misleading...In the Court of the Crimson King is here under Sup Forumscore and it's not even in top 15 in the poll Incontrovertible evidence that whoever's running this is a cancerous newfag this shit needs to die
Gavin Gomez
What the fuck is going on here
Wyatt Lee
>this shit needs to die it does. tyb gp spammer
Charles Garcia
We literally just did this yesterday.
Cooper Myers
More like recent listens core. This shit ain't Sup Forumscore.
Lincoln Anderson
The chart does not match with the poll votes, what drug are you on?
Adam Watson
topkek, let's do it
Christian Ward
This desu
Dylan Peterson
BOWIE BOWIE BOWIE BOWIE BOWIE BOWIE
Chase Hill
It wasn't done using a poll. It was another thread that someone made, with a few albums on it, anons suggested what should be added/removed, and that's how the chart turned out.
Benjamin Nelson
what a bunch of Sup Forums drones
James Russell
Oh, no! How did we dare to do that?! We are bunch of reddit fags! Didn't you learn from people on this thread that doing charts of Sup Forumscore is forbidden!
Jose Phillips
>Spiderland in 3rd place when will this meme end?
Michael Gutierrez
back to
Dominic Flores
>making a Sup Forumscore chart by informally asking Sup Forumstants what albums should be considered Sup Forumscore >it's just one of many unofficial Sup Forumscore charts that have been passed around for years vs. >How do you do, fellow 4Channers? I made a polling system so we can decide once and for all on an Official Sup Forumscore Chart! :^) yea no difference at all
Hudson Thomas
I don't know if I should be impressed that they know some good albums, or disgusted that put those good albums alongside shit like the xx and white stripes and probably think those are on par with one and another.

Lucas Gonzalez
woo hoo Montie leading
Lucas Wood
>every death grips album
im fucking done.
Xavier Roberts
kill yourself most of the classics section on that one is better than the entire other chart Backstreet Boys though, wow
Adrian Lopez
what's wrong, upset a poll isn't affirming your music tastes? how petty :^)
Henry Gonzalez
what's it look like without the 2016 albums?
also to combat this what if you just counted the top album for each artist?
Kevin Ross
>some kind of blue REEEEEEEE
Luke Wright
my taste isn't Sup Forumscore, and this isn't Sup Forumscore it's your personal internet ego project, cancerous shitstain
Evan Powell
>someone makes a poll >gets this angry
is there anything else you irrationally sperg out over? literally just ignore the 2016 albums
Matthew Brown
No one listens to of boots new dirt so you should remove it.
Also it should not be like 10-20 albums.
Austin Williams
>this isn't Sup Forumscore looks more like a "what's your favorite albums" poll tbqh
Sup Forumscore charts are fucking banal anyways since half the albums suggested are held in high regards but not posted much which usually incites cries of "b-but Sup Forumscore isn't a rankings chart you newfag" whereas the other half are posted far more often but not as acclaimed which only ever warrants "get these memes off the chart, none of these are even good"
>tl;dr trying to make a new Sup Forumscore chart is pointless
Michael Wright
