God haven't seen one of these in some time. Bowie chart when?
>muh inflation
shit taste, lurk more then come back

I will admit this is kind of indicative of the difference in tone between The nu-swans post rock and SFTB. Soundtracks was content to make you introspective about your own life, your own failures and let you grow in that sense of Alienation.
The newer stuff does have more of a "feel good" vibe to it, instead of specific emotions.
>Have One On Me
>anything but the best album of the 2010's
come on son
...
his state albums are the best indie rock possible. all the rest is anywhere from alright to pretty good.
As controversial as it might sound, Its my least favorite album by her. I still really like it but its weak especially compared to Ys for me.
I love it man, any road trip or long car ride I'm on, I will put that on and jam to it the entire way. A little different from Ys, but I'd also put it as one of my favorites since 2010.
Ys is still the best though, for sure. Life-changing record.
>hating on Familiars
how pleb can you be?
Its offensively repetitive and shallow.
I like Palace and Parade a lot though..
bro I love stranger IDK wtf u are on but that is of my favorites. I haven't listened to in a while but I'm sure I'll be bumpin Constellations and Stranger tomorrow.
>Its offensively repetitive and shallow.
followed by
>I like Palace and Parade a lot though..
is this your first time listening to music
Stranger had the soul sucked out of it. Its very polished and commercial to me.
idk dude, Hopsice is one of those albums I can pick almost any song off of any listen to, to this day.
I agree it's their peak, but I think it's a timeless ALBUM with 2 or 3 timeless SONGS
I'm not claiming Palace and Parade aren't shallow.
They're just catchier and more heart felt than the rest of the album.
Is it so impossible for you to handle someone else's taste? Their opinions not lining up with yours must mean they don't grasp the content well right? Your taste is infallible of course.
>hating animals
you disgust me
Based off of that image it does not think Hospice is their peak. He seems to like Burst Apart and In The Attic the most.
where can i listen to new swans?
Reckoning is a solid 9
I just don't think that's possible with instrumental albums, but I get you. That is the album I can play to people and not get a weird reaction.
I think I agree with polished, but not totally with commercial. Maybe just appealing to a slighter bigger audience.
Monster is a 9 or 10. otherwise, almost exactly how i feel
listen to The Age of Adz and come back
It's on spotify now.
Monster felt pretty bland and most of the songs were forgettable
I always see that CD in the dollar bin at my record's shop
Age of Adz is one of my favorites of all time. Shit is so fucking cash.
I seriously have an issue with Swans.
Listened to a bit of them, never got into.
Saw them live and it fucking blew me away. Couldn't get over it for a few days after. (Wanna say they played all of To Be Kind)
But I still can't really get totally into listening to the records.
What am I missing? Is it me? Do they just translate better to a live experience. Am I too much of a pleb? Is there something i should try listening to?
>TGA 4
end yourself
>greed and holy money among the lowest rated
literally kill yourself faggot
Their bandcamp
I have a big amp I play my swans CDs through. It makes it better when the music hurts your body

>MP3 - V0 VBR
Ugh with someone as deeply retarded with Kanye love as you you'll probably never recover from your delusions.
Kanye West is autistic and makes mediocre at his best music
>triggered
>Drone
There is plenty of drone on this album
I grew up is all
haha is this a joke?
i hate kanye with a god damn passion but he makes some interesting albums. Yeezus was awesome, MBDTF was solid all the way through, and TLOP had some good songs.
Nah, you just didn't listen to it enough.
Anybody got the template?
cause you fucks wanted it so bad
His lyrics are moronic
FUCK YOU STOP BEING A DISHONEST FUCK
u dumb shit idiot
inb4 inflated ratings
i love king crimson so yeah buddy
i know you are but what am i?
10 through 0 with alternate eyebleed 9 and 10. I can't find the old GOD TIER ratings scale
>no one likes Destroyer enough to comment.jpg
thanks man, haven't seen it on any public trackers yet
I totally agree every Kanye album has a list of lyrical faux pas, but that doesn't lessen the production, the unique flows, or the songs for me at all.
>angsty comment about Destroyer
>Rates Golden Bridge a 2
What the fuck type of emo are you, kid?
...
...
>Danse
>That Low
King Crimson has sucked dick since TOAPP and for many albums before that
u look comfy for a homo
Neon Bible at a 7? What the fuck is your problem?
I don't agree, but your opinions are defensible and not wrong enough to offend me.
>Hollinndagain
>Here Comes the Indian
>Danse Manatee
>Not 10s
>STGSTV
>10
Spirit is so easily a 10 it's fucking retarded, mate.
such shitty faces
The only good song on that album is 'Alvin Row' everything else gets boring so quickly. Here Comes the Indian is undoubtedly the best Animal Collective album.
808s is the best one tho
Well find me the God hand one and I'd post that. Like I said, I haven't seen a discog thread in ages.
yea dude I get it you like 12 min songs. Two Sails and Hey Light are good and all, I just don't enjoy listening to HCTI as a whole.
I think Strawberry Jam, MPP, and Spirit are miles better than HCTI
Agreed
I hesitate t osay it, but I love every single one of Kanye's albums. However, I love 808's the "least" as to say I'd rank it last if forced to rank them. It did'nt do anything new and it wasn't that good on first listen, it didn't have huge standouts, and it wasn't cohesive.
Definitely not a 1/10, though.
Yeah? And Alvin Row is the fucking magnum opus of Animal Collective.
Congrats, you're the only one who made one of these who has their priorities straight
how fucking drunk are you?
It takes me back to high school.
Hollinndagain and HTCI deserve the gold
heroes is his best album no contest
well youre just mentally retarded at this point so why would you have any credibility. retard.
hey, I tried them all and I thought they sucked
pussy
you act like if you met someone in real life who had listened to every king crimson album and given them a fair shot, that you wouldn't be best friends with them.
fucking neckbeard.
...
but they are actually not good
Well, actually I prefer the other songs on HCTI, you should check those out more often, they're the fucking best.
Well, yeah Alvin Row is great (And it sounds way better live) but that doesn't really make the whole album good, atleast for me.
I think Coloring Book is great.
Fight me
they're actually their best albums
Where you at?
I think they're the fucking worst. So grating and annoying to listen to.
I'm on Boost mobile nigga!!
wtf is that first album?
it literally says it right on the cover? Are you blind? How are you reading this?
go to bed
I completely agree with this
>Indie Rock
Why post this? The closest comparison is Post-Rock, Noise Rock, and Drone.
>he likes no wave Swans more than post-punk Swans
>le fapfapfap reaction fafce xD
why tf are people using this embarrassing version
