i got v2.2 and i listened to iyas but the track titles and order are wrong
like digestion machine is labelled as calypso pt 1 and pt. 2 as my dreamgirl don't exist, there's probably more but i stopped listening because i didn't want to spoil the album by listening to it out of order

All the songs are compositionally very simple and for music you'd probably expect to be hipstery, it feels incredibly genuine, not at all pretentious. The lyrics are all beautiful yet disturbing, they create great and confusing imagery.

I can't follow the lyrics well. Pretentious was the wrong word. It sounds like an inside joke. The artists understand something about this that I'm not getting.

The lyrics are more about creating emotive imagery than a story that you can follow. However, the main idea that the album revolves around is Anne Frank, the lyrics will probably make more sense that way.
