Question, when you guys see a few Sup Forums core albums on someone's chart how does your perception of that person change?

I suppose it depends on which Sup Forums-core albums
Changes none, unless it's completely stuffed with them. I try to rec depending on the less popular albums I see on the chart
It's an anonymous imageboard. Unless you're talking specifically about tripfags, I don't think you understand how perceptions of people work.
Sure you can't track someone unless they have a name but a lot of chart threads are based around predicting someone's personality based on their taste.
Also maybe by them having a lot of Sup Forums core stuff you are more or less inclined to give them recs.
i normally don't rec someone when their chart is full of Sup Forums core t b h
just because you have no real clue what they'd like other than more popular and accessible music
I'm sure this has already been asked, but is anyone else having difficulty with topsters?
Yeah dude, topsters is fucked up all the time. Use this google.com
If there's a few it doesn't matter, if there's a lot than it makes them look unoriginal
And holy fuck, I love your taste
im a mucore pleb too, so i cant judge too much. guess i just assume they're newer
/desmadre/core mexico 2.0 Only works with resistol 5000 and peyote

Your taste in music is fine. Don't let these Sup Forums retards call you a "pleb" just because they think their taste is better

thank you for all the recs, I'll check them out :)
I think it's best to wait to create a chart until you've developed your own taste for music. Too often I see something like Beefheart paired with Madvillain paired with American Football paired with Merzbow in someone's "top albums" and the only thing I can recommend is "try the rest of Sup Forumscore"
I try to rec based on patterns of liked music and it's rather difficult in those situations
Koenjihyakkei - Nivraym
This is me
Michael Gira - Drainland
No he oido la mayoria de estos, lo siento
Brainticket - Psychonaut
Earl Sweatshirt - I Don't Like Shit
Nikos Veliotis / Costis Drygianakis - 28/04/2001
Thank you for understanding my passion for Lulu
Continue down Faust's discography if you haven't already
Hmm
Hmm
Hmm
Earth 2: Spicy Version
Interesting combos here. Also, you put RTJ2 twice
Tried Can yet? Or early Kraftwerk?
>Too often I see something like Beefheart paired with Madvillain paired with American Football paired with Merzbow
Surely people are able to (and should) like more than just one or two genres though?
>replies to everyone but me
i dont want your shitty rec anyway!!!!!!!!!!! go fuck yourself???!!!
Recs would be cool :P
MONO - The last dawn
Magnog - S/T
I'll get titles on this chart next time I keep forgetting to do that
you seem pretty weird but i like that
genius taste
keep listening to more and more because you're going down some good pathways
check out tacoma radar, belle and sebastian, the brian jonestown massacre
maybe try Tim Hecker
No, I mean they put them on the chart because they're Sup Forumscore despite being extremely different stylistically, so there's no way to tell if they actually like them or hold them as favourites
It's funny that Sup Forumscore was born out of an idea of certain albums being agreed upon as elite albums.
And now Sup Forums has developed an elitist attitude against people who enjoy Sup Forums.
I'm not gonna lie about what I like to seem more original to a bunch of anons. I just try and be as honest as possible with how I feel about an album. Idc if it's a common opinion on it or not.
enjoy Sup Forumscore*
pretty much this
it's difficult to guage taste when someone's spewed Sup Forums core all over their chart; regardless of whether or not they actually like the album it's hard to look at harsh noise, avant-prog & jazz hop and guage taste based off of it
>music for egon schiele
i like you user
listen to this
youtube.com
CAAAAAN I BE AS MY GOD AM
teach me how 2 aesthetic
Right so I think there are really two different questions here if you think about it.
1:
>put them on the chart because they're Sup Forumscore
and 2:
>despite being extremely different stylistically
So, would you say it's good if someone has a bunch of Sup Forumscore albums that are all similar stylistically?
What about someone who has a bunch of albums that are very different stylistically, but very few are Sup Forumscore?
it's still pretty hard to rec them then 2bh
it's not that i change my viewpoint on that user they could still be bretty cool
but i probably won't rec them
that's just my 2 cents :')
fuck me up sanpan~~~
(baleeted my post because i'm a tard)
...
>Stereolab
Have you listened to Cobra and Phases? My favourite album from them.
yo senpai, this teenage fanclub band is sick. Thanks for the rec :D
It would be easier to rec because it's more apparent that they have truly explored a variety of styles and not just what Sup Forums says is good
...

Yeah I have. Can is pretty good but none of there albums are my favorites
I always see Can depicted as the "epitome of krautrock" but nothing, even Tago Mago, has stood out to me. Why don't you like them?
Melody's Echo Chamber - s/t
anima latina - lucio battisti
For me there music is too detached. It yields interesting ideas but it doesn't really grow on me. Like Amon Duul have really good melodies that I can hold onto like on Yeti, but anything from Can is lacking.
