I'm listening to this for the first time. I'm 4 minutes in and it's sounding absolutely comfy so far

Get ready for 15:36
Of which track?
You gotta find out
Is this a good album to start if you've never listened to Swans before?
Tell me when you get to the I AM BLIIIIIIIIND part
Any tips of how to ambient myself better? Like with lights off or something like that?
Well, 9 minutes in and all I can say is that it follows the more recent sound style of Swans, and since reverse order was always a valid options to into swans, you might be good starting with it
Shit's getting heavier
I am also listening to it for the first time. I'm on track 3 right now. So far it's about a 7/10
Yeah actually, you could say it's the most accessible of the recent trio.
I'd definitely say TBK is the most accessible of the 3
Just don't listen to anyone who says go chronological.
I am still pretty new to them...I've heard 4. TBK > SFTB > White Light from the Mouth of Infinity > Filth
>I am bliiiind
now
that's funny because I consider TBK to be the least accessible but I think its because more accessible to me usually means trance-like and softer.
let us know your favorite track
i think world looks red/black is my favorite
To me it's accessible because of the catchy riffs on Screen Shot and A Little God in My Hands and Oxygen, while pretty heavy, is also rather catchy
b-but I'm at the beginning of the second track, user
and it sounds cool, like a mix of the atmosphere from The Seer and the noise mixes from TBK
Listen to it at 12 at night with all the lights off on your couch or bed or whatever.
I am this guy and it's my favorite track so far
Well, here's 2:11AM
What order should one listen to the Swans discography in
Honestly, I'm pretty disappointed with their final album. I really enjoyed The Seer and To be Kind, but this album is pretty underwhelming.
There's a Swans flowchart thread going on. You may wanna try that one
chronologically from the first album, same as you would for any other artist
Damn, this sudden burst of sound on the second track was heavy, powerful, I dig that. And now the bell-like sounds on the background are again reminding me of TBK
chronological
like hell you do, that shit puts soundtrack for the blind first or among the first ones. It makes no sense whatsoever.
>15:36
fuck me
(not OP)
OP here, and yeah, I'm currently on the third track and it's by far the best and most creative song so far
...
Damn... How could them let that pass up?
