5x5 last week

A classic form factor that never goes out of style.

Looking for summer recs - ideally upbeat and slightly noisy/shoegazey stuff like Candy Claws and Civil Civic.

Kairon; IRSE! - Ujubasajuba

>Lolicore
Why would you do that to yourself

Don't do it
Don't become an avant-teen

theyre first two albums are nice but i didnt like low level owls

it's a sign of fate
now marry me

Apart from the few more hard rock-like tracks I dug it a lot. I was reminded of Steely Dan a lot in the influences he pulls in and especially in how polished the sound was, I was impressed really. Zappa's much more interesting to me when he's doing absurdist pop music like that. so yeah thanks for brining that to my attention my man

gotta pretend I'm still a weeb dude
but on the real while not all the artists on that split were that good, odaxelagnia's style of mashcore is to die for

oh yeah this slaps

thanks for showing me this

>now marry me

let's do it

i'm glad your digging it, it definitely has a lot of his best songwriting of that period on it for sure

Try surf rock. Daikaiju has a good self-titled album.
Have you listened to Gavin Bryars?
What do you think of Blood on the Tracks in comparison to his other albums?

...

It's my favorite album of his by far
Also this unreleased outtake of Tangled in Blue is the best thing he's ever done

How's Slaves' Graves (and Ballads) in comparison to Swing Lo Magellan and Bitte Orca?

>onra

>testarossa
i just wish this was a yoni project desu
i just don't care for serengeti's voice
favourite track?

i feel like i like this taste
a lot

>i feel like i like this taste

thanks user

you've got lots of great stuff as well, those Eberhard Weber, Edan, Big Moe, Digital Mystikz, clipping., Can, Danny Brown, ODB, and Busdriver albums are all great

you should listen to Freigeweht by Rainer BrĂ¼ninghaus, its a very slept on ECM release by the guy who played keys on Weber's Silent Feet album

Hmm, probably I, Testarossa
Big Moe is nice, have you listened to any other Screwed Up Click artists?

Very good taste + swans, joy division and other regulars

Try die arzte - debil, its pretty positive punk summer music, not what you wanted buy maybe you could like it.

+arthur, scott, casper

Fat Pat and C-Note were recommended to me recently, but I haven't given them a listen yet.

>How's Slaves' Graves (and Ballads) in comparison to Swing Lo Magellan and Bitte Orca?
Better than Swing Lo Magellan (although I'm not exactly a fan of that); not nearly as good as Bitte Orca, although that's not a minus for it, Bitte Orca is bloody fantastic.

haha i forgot about the "avant-teen" meme

its all sporks and mallgoth now

Big fan of Movement, haven't listened to it in a while but it's always been my favourite New Order album.

+Big Moe, ODB
