It probably was the start. The songs from that era and the ones immediately after are all fantastic.

That's an alright version but it sounds way too much like the original and just...isn't as good as it. The version posted at least takes it in a different direction tonally.

The smart studio one does take the song in a different direction. It's longer, more anxious sounding, and has rising tension. The original is one of the slightest Velvets songs. The acoustic one is kinda obnoxious desu compared to the pretty fluttery sounding smart studio one.

Guitar is almost straight ripped from the Velvets version, drums are boring, and the overlong super distorted bits are somehow worse than the drums. And the "solo" is bad.
