We start off my new label, Jacob And Friends, with the release of Eric Taxxon's Sky Simplified.
Will be accepting submissions for the label.
>New Release
>Eric Taxxon
>Sky Simplified
>Santa Cruz, Ambient, Ambient Pop, Drone, Vaporwave.
Description:
We often view the sky as something of an art piece in itself. Something reflective, as we wonder and gaze into its openness, while evolving with its ever changing shapes and colors. Eric Taxxon attempts to embody such in his new album, Sky Simplified. With droning synths and ambient melodies, Eric tackles how he holds viewership of the sky with his gentle and yet intricate production.
Now available for stream and download!
Support, scrobble, or review on RYM. Any feedback of any kind would be greatly appreciated. And give Eric some love. Thank You. :)
Also for anyone living in Houston, I will be performing at a showcase at Fitzgerald's on July 1st. If you have an interest in going, contact me for tickets.

today I am making some pie! I will come back later with a report on the pie, and if it sucked or not
the new album is still on hold, i just haven't been able to play the guitar these days (my fingers won't cooperate)
oh my god I loved it!! it was really comfy and had overall nice vibes. I will definitely listen to it again sometime soon
I really like your voice though, I would love to hear you sing again (kind of like in "garbage truck please take me with you", that's my favourite release by you so far)
anyways, it was really fucking good, I think you should show some more confidence in your music!!
"with a smile, you left forever" was my favourite song by the way. the piano was the comfiest!!
I CAN'T GIVE MORE FEEDBACK, I GOTTA RUN
I WILL GIVE MORE BACK WHEN THE PIE IS DONE

Thanks, appreciate that!
these are both solid
really cool beats. I especially loved "and with a bright smile, you left forever". my only complaint is that it could've been fleshed out more but otherwise good work.

I've made a new demo track!! It's the firt thing I've made with a proper mic so it sounds less lo-fi than my EP. If you wanna hear then hit me up on my email (in my bandcamp description under "Contact")
Recs:
(for your solo stuff, haven't heard the new album)
(is the song you're releasing what I think it is?)
>tfw one of the two actually goods
im honored
>(is the song you're releasing what I think it is?)
haha not yet, the track your violin is in still has some work left to do. i kinda wanna get some singing in it but i can't songwriting at all, so i might just do a la monte young/michael gira style aaaaaaaaAAAAAA for like a few minutes
also im waiting on a drum bit for it too, as well as having to make some extra sounds to fill up those 9 and a half minutes
Wow, to be called "actually good" by someone whose trip is literally "I'm not here to flatter you" and who dismisses 90% of the thread is pretty damn flattering; gives me more encouragement to work harder on my next album

We were this lineup last year for two live shows and recorded this album during that time. We broke up shortly after because of college and are back together as a live only lineup this year currently, we will be breaking up again when school is back in session. I (Brett) hope to reform the band with new members as soon as possible when I'm back in school. An EP, full length, and possibly a live album featuring Eye Contact songs and some others too are on the way. Thanks for listening.
