the new single, Angakok, is an example of the other style that's also present in the album, which is a more guitar oriented type of ambient music.

Ooh excited. Sadly my album circlejerk is compelling me not to listen to singles before the album is released. Looking forward to it though

Onat. Grow up. Stop being jealous of people who have musical talent.

Enjoyable, reminds me of Bull of Heaven a lot. I love the massively slowed down drum loops.

This is my band's first release, totally DIY, had our friend record and produce it for us so we know it isn't perfect. Would love to hear people's thoughts though.

I'm getting a real nouns vibe from this. I like it, though I think it would benefit from being just a bit more clear. Downloaded the I'm So Lame track.

I'm not typically a listener of plunderphonic type stuff, but that second track on the Roscoe album is really cool, especially the second half.

Sorry to say but on that other album you linked, I'm not a fan of the overuse of effects. Too much reverb. Feels directionless.

Getting a really awesome nostalgic vibe from this. Love the minimal approach. Downloading and reccing.

That first track was startling, but the juxtaposition is definitely interesting, downloading.

I'm listening to Osen Formation, its very interesting. Reminds me of early fennesz.

Have you thought about getting a singer? I had a random thought that a female singer would sound great on the first track.

>New Release

>Jorge
>Fauxiliary
>Ontario, Canada, Ambient, Drone, Harsh Noise, Harshnoise, Noise, Vapornoise, Vaporwave.

Description:
Tragedy and viscera, established vicariously through slow, warm, looping and warping drones, glitches, bursts of noise, stinging synths and overwhelmingly profound levels of volume. In the ever expanding thirty eight minutes that creates this single track, Jorge embodies the strong foundations of these beliefs in what is Fauxiliary.

Now available for stream and download!

Support, scrobble, or review on RYM. Any feedback of any kind would be greatly appreciated. And give Jorge some love. Thank You. :)

Will still be accepting submissions for the label.

Keep it up

This is our most recent release, first release as this four-piece lineup. It's eclectic, every song is different but it contains these genres:
>emo
>indie rock
>progressive rock
>post-punk
>ambient
>psychedelic rock
petalportmusic.bandcamp.com/album/eye-contact

We have CDs, and a fb page. Consider looking into both.

We're finishing up the follow up to Eye Contact. It's a five song EP but pretty varied and a lot different than Eye Contact. The reason why we already have another thing so soon is because Eye Contact was recorded in 2015, and the EP was recorded a few months after recording Eye Contact. When you're a prolific musician that doesn't tour stuff comes out faster. I've already assembled demos for the next full length too which sound pretty dope, could be the best thing I do before I'm 20. We're also considering doing a live album before we break up for the second time and I reform the band with new people.

I really like the artwork, the genre is not of my taste, but you have a very spacial sound (specially in moon landing), good job in that aspect, will keep listening.

Got some good ideas, senpai. I would try using try some different synths as well as layering up your drums a bit more because they seem a little underwhelming even for Vaporwave/Chillwave. Keep it up.

I really wanted to like this based off the description but at least fans of bands like the residents would definitely enjoy this

skip the first song, it's the more residents-like.
they actually weren't an influence for this.

Thanks for listening, the cover art was done by our guitarist Cody.

This sounds so 90s (that's good, btw). Makes me think Ride and Chapterhouse. Was expecting something different since you tagged it electronic. Maybe drop that tag and add dream pop. But overall very well produced, and songwriting is on point. Keep it up!

back for some recs and feedback
RECS-
like this a lot, definitely looking forward to a formal release, fav song is definitely Halfway, it builds up very effectively and has an excellent instrumental and overall sounds really cathartic
very moody and effective stuff, very heavy on feels
very interesting stuff, I love the instrumentals and their textures, sounds like a hazy dream
this is really nice actually, well composed and well produced, looking forward to hearing the whole thing in a couple weeks

is it too early to ban this guy from bcg

Did he actually break a rule? Or is it a joke?
Sorry, I'm still not to sure about how this works

no but in an earlier thread he was being really condescending and arrogant about his shitty music
