best live band i've seen

Swans live is way too fucking intense.

I saw these guys. Awesome show.

>top 5 best
Paul McCartney (2014)
The Sounds/Foxy Shazam (2009)
Cheap Trick (2014)
Weezer (2014)
The Limousines (2010)

>top 5 worst
Metallica (2009)
System of a Down (2005)
Rush (2006)
Stitches (2016)
Warbringer (2011)

To their defense, Rush played well but the venue had the worst acoustics imaginable. They might as well have played inside a giant hollow metal globe.

>Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds

For a guy in his 50s, he has tons of on stage energy

Weezer was near me yesterday but It got sold out before I got to go. Are they really that good live?

They were when I saw them. They played the Blue Album all the way through and a bunch of Pinkerton/Green album songs.

Did you go to Riot Fest Chicago by chance?

Also for reference here are the bands I have seen live

Flatfoot 56
Depeche Mode
Psychedelic Furs
Echo and the Bunnymen
KMFDM
Brit Floyd
August Burns Red
New Order
OMD
Howard Jones
B-52's

I may have forgotten some but these are the major ones/I remember

They're kinda on and off, they have some really good shows and then some really gay ones (especially when they play songs off of Make Believe).

melt banana and the locust were probably the best

this will destroy you was by far the worst

Ohgr
Sia (during the We Are Born tour. Small, intimate club.)
Ministry
Rage Against The Machine
Justice

>this will destroy you was by far the worst
yeah I was not destroyed by it either.

>Best
Radiohead (2012)
Run The Jewels (2015)
Killer Mike / El-P / Mr. Muthafuckin Esquire / Despot touring together for Cancer 4 Cure and RAP Music (2012)
Japandroids (2012)
Sufjan Stevens (2014)
Joyce Manor (2014 and 2015)
Cloud Nothings (2014)

>Worst
Waxahatchee (2015)
Cobra Starship/3oh!3 (friend had a free ticket...) 2013

It's gotta be Rush. Don't be Rash, go see Rush.
Close second is probably Bruce Springsteen.

Was at this, still haven't been to a better concert

King Crimson came close though

I'd be surprised if people here knew about this but still without a question

Noeic

good fucking dammit Sup Forums you cant into Unicode ?
oh well then

either PJ Harvey, Ezra Furman or Blur
seen all three within the last year as well heh

I did

i don't know what band this is, it looks like a weird dinner jazz group fronted by Brann Dailor of mastodon.

I was there too lol That was one of their best shows in a while

It's Public Image Ltd. you fucking tard, it even says "PIL" on the stage

Public Image Inc

11/11/10

>It even says "PIL" on the stage
Pigs in Life?
Party Independent Legos?
Pringle's Intense Lobotomy?
Paving In-between Loads?
Panicking Icy Lisp?

Iron Maiden to be honest, so much fun.
Dead Can Dance, Sunn O))), Dark Fortress, The Gathering, Slowdive, Kreator, Slayer, Megadeth, Nightwish, Conan, Inquisition, Black Sabbath, Stream of Passion, Cannibal Corpse, Deicide, Napalm Death, Nadra and Obituary have all done memorable shows though.

only live band i've seen was Metallica when I was 10 with my dad and brother and I couldn't see anything cause I was too short and someone threw his underwear and it landed on my brother's head

gonna see Radiohead in October though, and going to ACL

I saw the Dead Kennedys that summer as well at Bottom Lounge. I dont care what tru punx say, Jello is not an essential part of that band, they were amazing.

fuck I would kill to see McCartney live, I hear it's amazing

Godspeed You! Black Emperor

I haven't been to that many shows though

I saw him 3 times. Lollapalooza in '15 was a huge party of younger Macca fans just going wild.

>Best
My Bloody Valentine
David Gilmour
The Garden

>Worst
Ariel Pink

Agreed that show is an experience
