But user, intimate string ensembles of four or five are the best way to imitate an organ. You can sustain chords without needing to breathe and you get a beautiful homogeneous sound that retains an element of acidity.
That arrangement cleverly makes use of what they got with the harp imitation in the violins and even allows the double bass to get the melody for once.
