Canadian, English, and Australian artists gain popularity in the U.S. all the time. Is it that surprising that musicians are popular across Spanish speaking borders as well?
mars volta
cypress hill
enrique iglesias
dudes, they are popular in my crew
yes it is
All the remotely metal/rock bands aren't popular in spain don't listen to those anons, those are just their preferences. Like other anons said it's bad pop and reggaeton. Some popular musicians I can think of right now are:
Malú
Camela
Mecano
Enrique Iglesias
Alejandro Sanz
Cali y El Dandee, even if it's not spanish
Miguel Bosé
And we have our own spanish boyband guys kind of. Gemeliers, which are twins, Auryn, a real boyband, and Abraham Mateo. They're famous between teenagers. Hope that helps.
Oh I forgot. This is famous spanish music, but american pop music is probably the kind of music most listened to here. As an example, my mom really likes Sia (And Queen and the Bee Gees, too.)
