It isn't, it's Strangeways.
The Queen Is Dead
Meat Is Murder
The Smiths
Strangeways, Here We Come
i think more in the smiths like a band of isolated songs. They have a lot of good singles.

nah I used to love queen is dead but now I think it's pretty weak
compared to s/t,hatful,strangeways
morrissey is a bit too whiny and insecure on Queen is dead

No remembers The World Won't Listen
It's a compilation album and an inferior Louder Than Bombs.
Die
I've always liked strangeways, discounting hatful of hollow.
Meat is Murder > Hatful of Hollow > The Queen is Dead

Its not, self titled is better by a landslide
I genuinely can't understand why people think that The Queen Is Dead is the Smith's best album. Other than the title track, none of the songs are better than any song from Meat is Murder and Strangeways.
HER VERY LOWNESS WITH A HEAD IN A SLING
nigga wut
>Bigmouth
>The Boy With the Thorn
>There is a light...
right there you have three of their biggest anthems, their most definitive tracks. Even if that doesn't tickle your fancy, you've got
>I Know It's Over
>Some Girls...
>Title track
Those are all solid 9+/10 tracks. What has Strangeways got?
Self titled is the best smiths album
OP here. There's also a lot of other tracks as well like Frankly Mr. Shankly and Cemetery Gates. The only real weak track is Vicar In A Tutu, literally every other track is a 9/10.
