I'd argue the vocals are one of the best things about it. He sounds like if an orcish warlord learned how to sing opera.

It's a shame Al never really sang quite like that again. On Holy Mountain his vocals are a little on the rough side for me, and with Om it's too bland. Dopesmoker has the perfect balance imo
