My dad has that Ambergris album on vinyl. It's not very good, so good thing Pavement used its good cover for better music.

Is it an intentional reference to that or do they just both happen to have american flags on the cover?

Sometimes I actually get tricked by the thumbnail at a glance for Person Pitch and Fleet Foxes and think one album is the other. The other one's don't really look *that* similar.
