But then I heard WHateva U Want. More than happy for finally hearing the album after 2 years of waiting, but this song is so sad for some reason.

at first I wasnt sure, but it feels like a more somber, darker version of Q, as if he was influenced by Vince Staples and his Summertime '06.

I don't dislike Miguel the same way I hate chris brown, rather he feels kind of bland and lacks character in his voice. Hearing some very colourful contributions by Anderson Paak on this LP undermines him a bit maybe.

Havent even listened to a full LP of his, but I'll give him a shot.

Depends on your familiarity with Q and the genre. It's more serious and less upbeat than oxymoron. If you don't like Qs very excentric enonunciation you might wanna try ODB - Return to the 36 Chambers to get a feel for this very off the wall flow.
