I remember Ihsahn saying he met a bandmate at a blues workshop/lesson thing, so he's probably at least familiar. I wouldn't be surprised if opeth has something, or maybe Sigh. Since Sigh is so influenced by psychedelic rock I'm sure some blues gets in, but I haven't listened to them in a while.
This is what I got when I googled "industrial ragtime", although I have no idea what's supposed to be industrial about it.
Jesu is pretty much Dream Sludge/doom pop. It's the guy from Eyehategod (I think) doing shoegaze/pop type music.

Fucked up the replying on the last post. This is the so called industrial ragtime.

dream metal, i know deftones aren't exactly the most metal thing, but they've dabbled in alt metal + shoegaze + dreampop, jesu gets pretty dreamy, i think nadja is sleepy too at times, planning for burial, riftworm is a bandcamp guy but his song hands on neck cannot speak is great, botanist is dulcimer based black metal shoegaze, abyss by chelsea wolfe is dreamish doom metal, also check out broken water and their album whet, it's kinda slow and doomish/ slowcorey and it's got sonic youth style noise in it and it's very good.
I want some industrial shoegaze
you know how industrial music has the factory cling clang sounds
my idea is to bring some sounds from before the industrial revolution
music with sounds of wood being cut with axes, windmills, hammers and nails
music from a simpler time
ambient funk
dream dub
