Aspiring digital artist/comic book writer

you have a kik chat

:^)

hates memes

You play JRPGs and read VNs
You never traveled in a foreign country

my week

While it is probably safe to say I am a giant weeb, I actually don't play much vidya, and I think VNs are boring as fuck.

I'm gonna guess you have long hair, hate sprinkles on your ice cream, and listened to Nu-Metal in middle school.

you like slade

i'm getting an art student vibe from this for some reason

Bruh nice Sweet Trip, one of my favorite albums

You seem alright

Hey, you too man.

...

Prurient/Lustmord v nice
Not bad apart from that Yung Lean.
I don't think we would have anything in common.
I like Kate Bush, can't say anything else.

Listened to too much of Swans to prepare myself for their Live concert I'm going to. I made it a 3x3 instead because of that.
Cool stuff here.

>lets his fetish dominate every other aspect of his life

the low hum of the drone keeps me alive

just entry-level my shit right up

some gems there, dutch as fuck too

thanks broeder, I feel like our music scene is growing slightly more acceptable over the recent years

great taste
that SND looks cool
++middle-eastern music, Brigitte Fontaine
Flume is grime, right? Never listened to them yet.
Skin has a pretty cover-art, but their s/t cover art has dubstep vibes i don't like

yeah man, been liking I_con van de staat, but it's kind of sad how little of good music we have here in the NL

5x5 for good measure

Flume could be considered as generic festival-electronica, but he uses a bunch of chirpy nexus-sounding like synths and throws in a defunct drum pattern here and there and i'm a sucker for that so i eat it right up. also his production skills make me feel like an outright amateur

I_con is fantastic, the new album is really good too, i wasn't too into it at first but after seeing them live again it definitely clicked

regarding dutch music, yeah there isn't a whole lot. but acts like De Staat, DJVT and Weval make up for a lot, love them

+ Burzum, Deafheaven, 2814

+ Peste Noire
- Nine inche Nails

Suuns - Hold/Still
eraas - initiation

obligatory 1month 5x5

fuckin NICE chart dude
is the new Arca good?

I only know/like Four Tet and Deerhoof on here (still need to listen to Drive Like Jehu one of these days) but let me just say that you've got some nice album art going on here

good. nice to see Iceage/Busdriver/Nicolas Jaar/Dean Blunt represented around here

(and also the more popular stuff that i like also like deafheaven and talking heads and stuff)

+arca, talking heads, anamanaguchi, unicorn kid

Tonight as an album is really weird to me. I can get down with Loving the Alien but the rest of it not so much

>wwwings - phoenix
I didn't have heard of these ones, thx
Too bad Lotic didn't have released something this year yet
Unicorn Kid was awesome (and quite cute); he disappeared from the internet after this release sadly (drugs? he felt trapped by the whole chiptune/seagrunge scene? he has to start college?).
Tonight is pretty mediocre indeed, not as bad at Never Let Me Down at least ahah
++ car seat headrest, magnolia, eno

you seem like a pretty boring late teen
i've got some shit for you (literally, but i'm pretty sure you will like it):
Night Lovell - Red Teenage Melody
Dylan Brady - All I Ever Wanted
MISOGI - PLAYMISOGI

Who else gets so happy when their charts stop containing Sup Forumscore?

I feel like I've accomplished something. I feel like I finally have my own taste in music.

I don't know most of those albums, but the ones I do know seem to indicate that you're feeling depressed. In my mind, I imagine you being a tallish, lanky college student who wears black v-necks and skinny jeans. You also have a messy but vertical mop of black hair on your head.

You seem new to Sup Forums. You have fun taste though.

I took a long break from Sup Forums to finish college, so I'm kind of out of practice. Also I've just been feeling kind of basic recently.

+Sun Ra, Olivia Tremor Control, Love

Correct
And thanks for the recommendations!

the necks - the boys
André Vida - Brud: Volumes I-III
>Who else gets so happy when their charts stop containing Sup Forumscore?
well, you have new avalanches record, i think it's Sup Forumscore now
and moanin' is also very popular in these threads (tho i dont think it's Sup Forumscore)

Thanks for the recs dude

Robert Drasnin - Voodoo I & II (percussion-driven exotica)
Sabu - Astronautas De La Pachanga (he worked with Blakey)
Deastro - Moondagger (some neo-psychedelia different from the Elephant 6 catalog)
Pale Fountains - Pacific Street (imagine if Forever Changes was produced in the 80s by britpop lads)

...

Wow, thanks for the recs

not even a 5x5, I've really not been listening to much for the past few days
why have I not been in the mood for music

it's funny you say that cuz I've been thinking I need to start listening to more Sup Forumscore, I've only heard a few Sup Forumscore albums

>Margo Guryan - Take a Picture (cute sunshine-pop from 1968)
>Molly Drake - s/t (between Vashti Bunyan and ... Nick Drake ofc)

Entrañas is probably a new direction for Ghersi: I hope he'll sing more on Reverie.
I liked the last Huerco a lot but I recently listen to his vastly superior previous EP, so idk what to think of it anymore :S
Didn't check elseq yet: there are so much good electronic stuff released this year...

++ Shinichi Atobe, Zapp, Grace jones
>Asher Levitas - Harness Lit (great mix of distressing ambient & UK Bass: grower AOTY)
>Fatima Al Quadiri - Brute (not as great as her previous EPs/LPs tho)
>Damien Jurado - On My Way to Absence (good Xian folk-rock, sometimes close to Songs Ohia, in particular on this album)

thanks for the recs, Ricky eat acid sounds pretty cool, will check out heroin party

thank you for those recs, might give Take A Picture a listen to either tonight or tomorrow

>josephine foster
never heard of her but I'll give her a try, thanks

good chart!
>Troublemakers - Doubts & Convictions (Avalanches-ter turntablism with soul/funk samples)
>Octo Octa - Between Two Selves (outsider/deep house)
>isaac hayes - truck turner ost
>High Llamas - Cold and Bouncy (~Stereolab but poppier & influenced by Brian Wilson's Smile)

I didn't know Weval, will check em out broer

thanks for the deskpop rec dude. there is not enough of this kind of music in my life (i like nelward's stuff a lot but i'm not really familiar with the scene)
