Oh yeah, just what I was looking for.
I search songs similar to

(1:40 and onwards).
Doesn't have to be neurofunk/dark or whatever, just melodic on the same level
Pic related is so good. Probably my EP of the year so far. I still haven't found my AOTY (so many disappoiting releases) but I keep faith.
It should be a good second half: incoming Noisia, Dom & Roland, Blu Mar Ten and Klute albums this Fall. Also Hidden Turn's got a first LP on 31 Records that sounds pretty interesting from what I heard on previews...
fourth for neurofunk is shit
Tunes mate
Get that pendulum tier shite out of here lad
Posting some more bangers
youtube.com
pendulum is the only good drum and bass act
everything else is inconsistent, wanky with no substance or poorly produced trash
>posting some more "bangers"
>literally fall asleep listening to it

anyone els like that pure blistering sound of the snare over the subtile subbass?
why must you go into a thread about good music and pretend to be me
youtube.com
trance is better anyway
Time to get dark and dirty
lurk moar bf posting faggot.
but I fucking love the song
I genuinely thought I had made this post, that's also my EPOTY (or it might be Dub One - Tension Dub) and I still don't have a clear D&B AOTY since it's been quite disappointing so far. Even the Chrome Classics comp from Position Chrome was much less good than I thought it was going to be, same with the Digital LP and he's like one of the best D&B producers ever.

Might listen to Shogun 100 comp later.
This was unexpectedly good. I never listened to Paperfunk Recordings before and wasn't expecting much but this sounds exactly like mid 2000s Virus Recordings.

BIG BAD AND HEAVY
I actually found the Farseer EP (as with many EPs) through your list, Ninj. There are just so many labels today (like, millions of them) that some of the best stuff slips under my radar sometimes. I can usually keep up with albums, though.
But yeah, I was blown away by how good it is. The kind of lush jungle with a modern edge that's right up my alley (it reminded me of Sully's Flock EP). Terrific stuff.
I saw the Shogun 100 leak on FS so I might as well get it. Not sure what to expect. That label's really hit-or-miss for me.
i know right?
listen, i found this sweet channel on youtube, all you have to do is look up ukf drum and bass in the search bar. thank me later.
I agree that the state of D&B in the modern days means that there are shitload of small labels which leads to stuff being missed and also means the former big labels don't end up putting out as much great quality stuff. For instance, Metalheadz is having an off year again after their recent resurgence. An example of a smaller label which always ends up producing great shit is Omni Music ran by Eschaton. Every year he ends up releasing something quality on it.

I used to really like Shogun Audio but not so much these days, it's gone the way of RAM Records a bit too much for me. Cosmic Bridge and Bunit are my two favourite smaller labels of recent years.

I also thought Richie Brains was a total let down.
just going to throw this into the mix
