FFO Pinback, The Dismemberment Plan
Rec. unique and fun. Not a big fan of excessive panning, but its not overbearing enough for me to hate.

>lo-fi pop crap inspired by the Music Tapes, Neutral Milk Hotel, Jeff Mangum's WFMU shows, a Hawk and a Hacksaw, early of Montreal, Daniel Johnston, Brian Wilson, Marshmallow Coast, Syd Barrett, the Ladybug Transistor, Joe Meek, R. Stevie Moore, Guided by Voices, Beatles, Animal Collective, Robert Wyatt, Bruce Haack, the Olivia Tremor Control, Half Japanese, etc.
>attempts at "lush" arrangements using harmonica, recorder, chimes, rain stick, accordion, fake bassoon, Hanna-Barbera cartoon sound effects, bird noises, singing saw, tambourine, fake glockenspiel, synthesizers, classical guitar, a fence, violin, water, lap harp, banjo, soda can, microtonal (busted) ukelele, field recordings, vocal harmonies, etc.
>crunchy
>cringey lyrics about the bittersweet feeling of graduating high school and stuff like that
>includes attempt at a "ragtime" song

Well gosh darn it I forgot the album cover
This didn't look like my thing at all but I started to enjoy it within 5 seconds. I second what Eric said, it's fun. I didn't notice any panning problems because I didn't wear headphones. As for where you go from here, I'd say it depends on how seriously you take your music. It still sounds just a little bit memey.
Demo single that I recorded for us, we just got the skeletons recorded for our debut at Valve Studios.

Description:
Tragedy and viscera, established vicariously through slow, warm, looping and warping drones, glitches, bursts of noise, stinging synths and overwhelmingly profound levels of volume. In the ever expanding thirty eight minutes that creates this single track, Jorge embodies the strong foundations of these beliefs in what is Fauxiliary.
Now available for stream and download!
Support, scrobble, or review on RYM. Any feedback of any kind would be greatly appreciated. And give Jorge some love. Thank You. :)

Rec. This is beautiful. The part when those foghorns (?) come in is just great. I really love your cover art too. I'm making a field recordings album too, and seeing stuff like this motivates me a lot.
im this guy
this is awesome, i love the feeling of it and your voice. the lyrics are really good too. downloaded.
still listening to yours, will give you feedback in a bit, so far it's really calming and beautiful
ok i did it, it was very calming and nice. never thought i'd sit myself through 30 mins of field recs, but it was worth it dawg, very interesting stuff.

i like the mood and ambiance you set up, i'm a fan of vaporwave and this is definitely pretty good.
what? are you just buying cassettes regardless of any genre or preference?
i have a brief listen through but I find I like most of the stuff posted in these threads and that the similar genres show up pretty often.
Solid, just curious. There's a handful of labels that have posted here that sell tapes. Burn Ward Records and Cellar Door Tapes are the first two off of the top of my head. It'd be so much to go and link every single artist that sells tapes, though.

THIS is sad? its basically just someone playing a high pitched noise for 3 minutes, i swear he only make this to waste my time or pump subliminals in or some BS
