The Ballet Militia seems to have been one of the side projects Claire was pursuing as an excuse for avoiding dealing with her sudden fame as Grimes post Visions success. The project's 2nd release was going to be the 'Be a Body' music video that she eventually decided to shelve, for unknown reasons (all of this is mentioned across several different interviews she did that I can't be bothered to find at the moment.)
