What i liked A LOT: Black Sabbath - Master of Reality (all the first five albums, really) Sleep - Dopesmoker & Holy Mountain Kyuss - Blues for the Red Sun & Welcome to Sky Valley Electric Wizard - Dopethrone
What i liked: QotSA - Rated R & Songs for the Deaf Electric Wizard - Come my fanatics
well stoner rock, while the others are stoner metal? idk really
Brandon Miller
i downloaded Pilgrimage, i'll listen to it soon.
Jose Hughes
youtube.com/watch?v=UCFU1Dpfmnk Boris has a lot of great albums, a lot are stoner or have stoner elements, might also want to check out their drone stuff too.
Aaron Richardson
I didn't like their drone stuff, but i'll definetly check out Heavy Rocks, Pink and Akuma No Uta. thanks.
Lincoln Fisher
Check out Ufomammut, especially their album Eve. Fuckin mint. Truckfighters are really top notch too.
Brayden Walker

Dopefight - Buds Spiritual Beggars - Ad Astra Spiritual Beggars - On Fire Toner Low - I Toner Low - II Toner Low - III
Not metal but I listened to Heavy Weather by Ekca Liena while high and it was amazing. Free on bandcamp, on the Sleep Paralysis album. Noise, half jangly, half Ben Frost-type textures with a broken percussive beat.
Charles Taylor
i'll post regularly on this board to post my progress on these albums
Parker White
THIS.
Om is not only one of the best stoner bands, but in my opinion they transcend the stoner genre and are an amazing drone/spiritual band in their own right
Logan Parker
Monoliths and Dimensions might be worth checking out. It's tar pouring out of your speakers.
Caleb Walker
Ur dumb but good reccs
Hudson Collins
Hebosagil - Colossal (their other albums don't really have stoner elements)
Saint Vitus - Born Too Late Zoroaster - Matador Sunn O))) - White1 Goblin Cock - S/T
Austin Martinez
Sabbath only have three good albums, so you're wrong
Try listening to Om, Acid King and Witch
Kayden Cox
they have at least 8
Acid King's horrible
Logan Rivera
>Acid King's horrible Great when you're stoned
Brayden Williams
>i don't like female vocalists wahhh :(
listen to suma and weedeater forget all these nerds
Lincoln Walker
+1 on this list. Elder and Colour Haze are my personal favorites.
More recs: Red Fang Brain Police Earthless Samsara Blues Experiment The :Egocentrics Asteroid Karma to Burn Dead Meadow Sungrazer Mars Red Sky
Asher Perez
it must be that and not the really, really boring songs
Aaron Murphy
Slightly Stoopid is a good stoner band! I would recommend the albums Closer to the Sun, All You Need, and Chronchitis!
Jaxon Williams
Kyuss and QOTSA are definitive stoner rock/metal and Black Sabbath is proto-stoner. I mean, the first song on Master of Reality is Sweet Leaf. seconding both of these recs, along with Elder, Boris, Church of Misery, Fu Manchu, and Red Fang.
But before all of that, listen to Uncle Acid and the Deadbeat's Blood Lust. It isn't nearly as hard as anything else mentioned here but it's the catchiest stoner rock ever made
Gavin Cook
OP here again. thaks for all the suggestions. I'll try to download and listen to everything, but that's a lot of work.
btw, changing topic completely, the good Black Sabbath albums are the first SIX (i forgot about sabotage) and then Heaven&Hell, Mob Rules and The Devil You Know. but always Ozzy > Dio > Everyone Else That Sung in Black Sabbath
Jaxon Long
to be precise: Master of Reality > Paranoid > s/t > Vol 4 > Sabbath Bloody Sabbath > Sabotage > Heaven and Hell > Mob Rules > Everything Else
Angel Ross
Listen to Warning, it'll change your life. Super depressing, what funeral doom should sound like. Bloodlust - Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats >psychedelic stoner metal, best recent doom album imo Soma - Windhand >woodsy sounding doom with female vocals The Unkindness of Crows - Eagle Twin >like Sunn O))) but with drums and a little faster. Cool vocals
Ethan Hernandez
Heavy Psych is basically the precursor to stoner rock.
