most Sup Forumscore

WISH

...

are all music subreddits really that bad? I get that the upvote system makes it a bit of a circlejerk, but really that different than Sup Forums? Ihaven't used reddit

...

Most Reddit album of all time reporting in.

r/vintageobscura is O.K.
It's a subreddit for rarities between rarities

other than the occasional really obscure subreddit, yes, it's as bad if not worse

>Sup Forumscore and redditcore are basically identical

otherwise, Sup Forums likes to dive a bit deeper into obscure shit for one ups and reddit leans a bit more toward "indie"/pop

that's it. music subreddits are cancer but that's to be expected

The japaneseunderground and post punk subs are good

DSOTM

Just look at the main music subreddit. It's always just people posting the same contemporary songs everyone already knows. Nobody seems to have their own musical taste.

Music that I do not enjoy

Songs for the Deaf

...

I think /r/Classical is decent

The main music subreddit has millions of users, what did you expect? Sup Forums doesn't have millions of people coming here. What about other subreddits?

Okay for the last time we dont make fun of reddit because of their taste we make fun of them for the gay way that they talk and how they always pretend to be nice to eachother

>they always pretend to be nice to eachother
yah this one of the reasons basically only use Sup Forums, also the fact that most discussions are really slow compared to here.

Tho for some people it's exactly the reason to not use Sup Forums, because they get easily butthurt.

dude
gays suck lmao

shit humour too mate

what does Sup Forums think of /r/indieheads? or /r/hiphopheads?

>post reddit-core albums
Sup Forums then

literally the most reddit album ever recorded

Anything in the Queen discography

Both are terrible.

wtf i love reddit now

essentially Sup Forums with more tolerance for dadrock and metal

/r/metal is pure cancer
just because they banned posting the most popular bands didn't really save it at all. mu-metal may have memes (say that five times fast), but at least it has good taste in metal.

>tfw Jomsviking is in their top 10 metal albums of the year

/r/metal hates industrial unless its shit like rammstein

So they don't like industrial?

yes

>BURNING DOWN LE HOUSE! XD

I used to enjoy r/letstalkmusic for discussions and stuff, but a bunch of the mods left and now it's not well maintained. The used to delete comments that weren't more than a few sentences.

this is posted in every single music related thread on every subreddit, they worship it

>MAMAAAAAAAAOOOOOOOOOOH! XD
Literally cancer

Reddit is EU Sup Forums is brazil

Reddit is great for keeping up with bands. They have individual subs for most bands. Also, /r/indieheads is worth going on just for the /r/indieheadscirclejerk content.

...

/r/indieheads is good, /r/hiphopheads is cancer.

>burnin it down

You faggots better not be sharing the beauty of OBND with Reddit.

A lot of /r/indieheads essentials are the more accessible/less controversial Sup Forumscore but also mixed with pitchfork core. That's it for indieheads. /r/music's "hall of fame" is mostly dad rock and other bands mu hates besides Modest Mouse and Radiohead.

I kind of like /r/listentothis. For music people found on YouTube/soundcloud/Vimeo/etc

Sp Eak In Gi n' To Ngu Es by Ta Lki n' Ghe Ads? XD

What the fuck is going on with their obsession with Tool?

Other than that

Arctic Monkeys
Le Father John Misty XD
Mac Demarco
Will the furry
Gorillaz
Joel
Knife Party

Pun intended?

Real estate XD le reverb

this is probably the most accurate in the thread

le perfect summer album XD

same as Sup Forums

That's not RTJ2.

Also, Demon Days is amazing.

Low quality codependent

/r/indieheads is the only good music sub that is for more than one artist.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHHAHAHA

Mostly bad. Although subreddits dedicated to a single artist/group are pretty good albiet small.

but I like this album :(

If we're comparing /r/music to Sup Forums directly, then Sup Forums is infinitely better only because /r/music is giga cancer. The smaller subreddits are much better, but they have less traffic than Sup Forums. Pick your poison.

fug, meant to reply to

i never said gays suck

they do lol

Arcitc Monkeys is p good though. Not like groundbreaking or amazing, but I listen to them sometimes.

>Queen - A Night at the Opera
>Rush - 2112
>Pink Floyd - Discography
>Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin I
>Tool - Discography
>Johnny Cash - American IV: The Man Comes Around
>Hans Zimmer - anything after Pirates
>Nirvana - Nevermind

Demon Days

+ led Zeppelin

This is actually tumblrcore
Redditcore is Rush, Queen, Nirvana and Caravan Palace

kek

Also Foo Fighters, Pink Floyd, QotSA

they fucking love this album, not sure why

>Pink Floyd - Discography
Really? I don't see ASOS, Ummagumma or More being praised by Reddit. Unless....

Don't forget Thom and the Radioheads

Is Travis Scott-Rodeo hip-hop redditcore or Sup Forumscore

Holy shit what if they made a 60s girl group album and credit it Thom and the Radioheads

Change Zeppelin I to IV and Pink Floyd to Dark Side of the Moon/ The Wall. After that, this list will be pretty objective.

neither

it's ktt-core

because it's shit

ALL I WANNA DO IS DANCE.

He said Reddit, not Sup Forums

Even though that is very reddit it is still a really fucking good album

I would say mu likes it more than reddit

This. Most albums they talk about a lot is just mucore from 2-3 years ago

I swear to god I'm not trying to be a contrarian faggot but I honestly think that album is trash. WYWH and animals both shit on DSOTM

this is /r/music's hall of fame:

>Arcade Fire
>Arctic Monkeys
>Beastie Boys
>The Beatles
>Childish Gambino
>Daft Punk
>The Doors
>Foo Fighters
>Gorillaz
>Led Zeppelin
>Modest Mouse
>Nine Inch Nails
>Nirvana
>Opeth
>Pink Floyd
>Queen
>Queens of the Stone Age
>Radiohead
>Rage Against the Machine
>Red Hot Chili Peppers
>Rush
>Sublime
>Tool
>"Weird Al" Yankovic
>Wu-Tang Clan

so all of these are pretty much the most objectively redditcore bands there are

/r/indieheads is pretty good, I don't have a problem with /r/hiphopheads since it's where I get a lot of leaks and tend to skip the discussion. /r/music is absolute cancer and is somewhat worse than Sup Forums. You can usually guess what the quality of the subreddit is by the subscriber count.

>Childish Gambino
Is that real lol

/r/music is the worst place to discuss music there is.

>Childish Gambino
>Foo Fighters
>Queen
>Weird Al
Holy fuck this list is shit

hhh users are annoying af with the way they talk, like they're trying to be from the hood but being the whitest people on earth

Tool "Decem"

There's a difference anymore?

they all spoonfeed each other and parrot the same opinions. Try and make a constructive criticism, you get downvoted

Don't get me wrong, I like this album as much as the other guy, but the 'le boy needs therapy' song gets reposted all the time.

...

Muse
Avalanches
Tycho
Pink Floyd
Bonobo

i think redditors of all kinds should fuck off my website

do you have a problem with weird al, user?

No, user is just delusional and wants to feel better than Reddit somehow
