I'll be leaving for the airport in about 8 hours. What's some absolutely essential, turbo-comfy and atmospheric music for airports and for being the plane? I'll be flying at night.
What music should I get before I leave? I'm already listening to Eno's Music for Airports, warming up.
Any other Sup Forumstants going on a trip? What do you plan to listen to?

I listened to all the disintegration loops on a night flight returning from New York, Which was amazing. Also Music for 18 musicians,Godspeed and Swans. I really like listening to shit i wouldn't really have the time for otherwise.

I recently went on a plane ride across the Atlantic to Europe. My go to plane music is Grouper. AIA: Alien Observier, Dream Loss, and Ruins are all incredible albums to listen to in the sky. However on this time around I listened to a couple of Midnigjt Odyssey albums for the first time, which was a cool experience.
When I'm at the airport, Boards of Canada is really enjoyable and fitting. The nostalgic atmosphere in their music is really nice at an airport, specifically Twoism.
Gavin Morris
Weirdly enough this. I first listened to this in an airplane and I still think it's the best setting for listening to it.
