>shilling your shitty music
ftfy
lol it ain't mine though. I just want to see dope artists succeed. I hate seeing how fucking long it takes for musicians to make it these days because people don't care about music that much anymore. Plenty of great songs take like over a year to blow up these days. Only way to help these artists is to spread the love. Now, do you have anyone to shill? Cause that's the purpose of this thread.
Any MrSimon fans here? I listened the fuck out of this back when it was called some gay track until someone got offended.
youtube.com
Yeah right. That is totally you. Also, his music is a pile of horse manure.
Absolute shit. Fuck off.
keep telling yourself that senpai any mod could confirm my ip is from europe and this guy is from canada. meanwhile
youtube.com
great vocal melody but terribly generic beat. if a good producer took this up it could be a hit
As someone who does make his own music but hasn't released anything it just scares me how long it takes for good music to blow up these days, like the cheerleader song took forever to go nr 1 in US. So I want to spread the word about artists I like because that's how the system works unless you've got a major label behind you in which case it can still take forever. There's an oversaturation in the music industry and people don't value music that much anymore. Great music is taken for granted, to be released every day.

I found this, really small amount of views and it's a comfy song.
Perfect combination of experimental+ actually having a nice melody. Nice.
Not as rare, but does anyone else also like this unironically? I bet the David Brent album is gonna be much worse.

Doesn't matter, you're still trying to support a god-awful "musician".
Fair enough. I'll take that. Could be the hype got to me, but I just like the tune. The lyrics are a bit cringe.
This makes me feel.
Jazzy hip-hop from Norway. Check it out:

Tuba Tuba. Norwegian pop-funk or something. Great summer vibes and really catchy. I especially reccomend the "Hemmelig Klubb" EP. Pic related.

Damn. He doesn't have any hint of an accent. Speaking of obscure European music, I don't speak a single word of Swedish but I had to learn the chorus of this pop song because it's so catchy.

Glad you liked it! He's got a lot of great stuff out, start anywhere really. I'm really into "Helping Hands" right now.
You might also like Ol Burger Beats. Also jazzy norwegian hip-hop. Summery as all hell.

some danish band i think, i discovered it through a random blogpost, this is their most pop album
youtube.com
I have never seen anyone talk about Hoops here, but that probably has to do with the fact that there isn't a lot of discussion about Hypnagogic Pop here.
I'm not sure they're too obscure, but still
youtube.com
really something to listen as a whole, wouldn't recommend to someone who isn't ok with potentially wasting 10+ minutes
end theme is fuckign great
Toro Y Moi, chillwave-pop-electrohouse, real relaxing and with really, really nice songs, they have become one of my favourite artists, listen to this song, 'Go with you':
The rest of the album is nothing like this unfortunately
lol i've actually seen this on Sup Forums before, can't fool me

My own music.

this whole band. Really mellow blend between jazzy indie and math rock.
Been my go-to summer album for quite some time now.
Weird edm thing. Its pretty funky
reminds me of this other really unknown obscure band, "The Beatles". Check them out :^)

Only the best pop rock (today it's called dream pop, apparently) album of the 10s so far, better than even WN's Nocturne. They're on the same label that Grimes started out on, so why Sup Forums ignores this band is a mystery to me.
sounds very boc with the drums, at least with the intro
Dude that's pretty good.
youtube.com
some great guitaring
This is fucking awful
that dude has great tits
youtube.com
This dude hangs out in SC threads - apparently he is working with Travis Scott now. Not sure that will work.
sorry but this is boring

I wish this band made more than two albums.

I love her work, one of the best dreampop artists out there. Sadly she has disappeared and I don't know enough korean to figure out what she's doing now.
