holy shit i didnt expect the vocals to be that high lmao

not gonna lie this is some fantastic folky guitar stuff, your voice im starting to get used to, but mm that guitar and the percussion stuff on frankies farm!!!

this has a pretty obvious Sung Tongs influence, especially black black moon cont, sounds a lot like the softest voice but with animal noises added. the animal sounds i feel are a bit overdone since theyre in like the beginning and end of every song so far. this is one of the few times ive been captivated enough by a Sup Forums bandcamp album to listen the whole way through, so when im finished ill give final thoughts. its by the way.

my favorite from here desu

I felt just as captivated listening to Peaches Davenport the first time. There's just something magical about this album

Description:
Tragedy and viscera, established vicariously through slow, warm, looping and warping drones, glitches, bursts of noise, stinging synths and overwhelmingly profound levels of volume. In the ever expanding thirty eight minutes that creates this single track, Jorge embodies the strong foundations of these beliefs in what is Fauxiliary.

Now available for stream and download!

Support, scrobble, or review on RYM. Any feedback of any kind would be greatly appreciated. And give Jorge some love. Thank You. :)

Will still be accepting submissions for the label.

nobody reccing this amazing stuff, rip Sup Forums

glad your on board!

im happy to make announcements and stuff
but i think we need more then just my opinion on who should be on it
there are defiantly some people that we all know should be
also wed probs need artists support before we put their stuff on a compilation

what do you think is the best way of organising this?

same

imo make a strawpoll and add people on it where people can vote for who they want to see on it [make it more than one vote as well]

anyone that wants to be added to the strawpoll can request it and be put on it for voting.

and also make sure to have each artists consent to post the songs as well

sounds good to me
ensures people cant vote just for themselves!

i have to sleep now, but ill try and get into some threads near the start and ask for subs
after ive got enough of a list voting can begin

I don't think this is quite clicking with me on a musical level but I frickin love the concept behind this. I'll have to listen some more later but keep ambition on this level going and I think you'll get attention down the road. Considering you're fairly new at playing your instruments according to your liner notes, I'd say your potential is still in its early stages. Thus, this is pretty impressive for such an amateur effort; it thinks outside the box. I'm listening to it while silent lightning is flashing outside my window and occasionally feeling something. I would say try to lower the mechanized sounds and go for something more analog (which you have on some of your synths) Not a big fan of the auto tune, although it can be used well by some. I liked the Smile sessions tribute most of all. Keep at it; remember to focus mainly on chord progressions, melody and rhythm. That's always a good idea.

honestly stick with me then because that's the exact sound i'm going for on my next lp. i wanna maintain the same psych vibes but with a more natural analog sound, just didn't have the resources for it before. thank you though, i appreciate the kind words and critiques! my soundcloud has an ep on there you might enjoy if you like my more natural sounds as well, there's a link on my page

also i can't deny how amateur this is haha it was mostly made in garageband using headphone mics

recs

Wow. Now this is the kind of stuff that I always hope to find in Bandcamp threads. This and Even Oxen just go far, far away from mediocrity. I wouldn't say that the animal noises are overdone, but then I'm a complete sap for field recordings. I'm also a complete sucker for Sung Tongs, so you pretty much had me wrapped around your finger from the start. Frankie's Farm is where I really started to get hypnotized, and Black Black Moon Cont. is just gorgeous. I love the subtle police siren that occasionally pops up, and what are those psychedelic whooshing noises anyways? And how do you get your voice so high?! Ah well, keep at it dude. I'm listening to this while a quiet thunderstorm unfolds outside my window and it's a trip. I plan to download this. This shit just keeps getting better. The guitar sound at 1:50 on Ballad for a Goose and a Lime. And now the bells. And now the plaintive Little Kid-esque singing saw-like organ. And now those cozy synths in the fade out. Getting Marshmallow Coast vibes...And now Waning Gibbous is starting and it keeps getting better. Sorry Even Oxen, but you've got competition. All these beautiful chord progressions. LISTEN TO THIS, PEOPLE

Sounds good man, I'll be waiting

a few years ago someone recorded my great uncle playing country/folk songs his mother sung to him as a kid. He played acoustic guitar and sang. I visited him this June and he told me about it, and gave me his only two CDs of his music for me to duplicate and send back. I liked his songs a lot and picked out 5 of my favorites to add backing band to, then mixed it. Gonna mail him a physical copy as a surprise
