ITT:

Undisputed god tier hip-hop albums.

I don't like that album

Do yourself a favour and check out: the name the motto the outcome

you first

...

...

People always shit on this because of the cover, thinking it's going to be another Slam Dunk'n Hoes or whatever. It's really good actually.

Damn, forgot about Keith.

ALL THE CRACK AND THE DRUGS MAKE ME FEEL THE WAY I FEEL

This

...

...

If no one's gonna post it

VV>madvilliany

How long until this is widely recognized as the best jazz hip-hop album of all time?

6/10

7.5/10

3/10

8.5/10

7/10

9/10

shit taste

...

...

Beats feel too empty and thus are uninteresting.

Only caters to backpackers.

Kek sure thing.

Too many filler skits.

Like and KK album, boring once the initial character gimmick wears off.

Literally who?

Boring narrow minded beats with a monotonous flow from DOOM.

Sounds dated as fuck today.

Same old monotonous DOOM flow.

Rapping over smooth jazz doesn't make automatically good.

It's literally dumb nigger the album. Poppy easy listening stuff.

>muh depression
>muh drugs

no u

>Illmatic
>Sounds dated as fuck today.

please stab your ears out

...

Also a challenge for you. It has the best two rap songs of all time. Guess them.

that album is painfully average

It's hilarious how Keith was making fun of all those old Cash Money covers with this one

Above the Clouds and You Know My Steez

What a sad boring taste

wow haha the OP said "undisputed" and you disputed every album. You're a goddamn madman my dude.

I prefer this one desu

There are some pretty radical opinions in here

Such a shit pleb opinion on Ready To Die. What an intellectual you are, muh good sir. What DO you like then?

...

Work and Above the Clouds, you may pick Moment of Truth instead of Work though

but that's like the one criticism you can't deny, it really does sound dated as fuck. the beats are so basic

Royalty and Above the Clouds.

>Moment of Truth

Overrated song desu.

Make Em Pay, Rep Grows Bigga, You Know My Steez are the rest of my top 5.

except they're not? compare any of Illmatic's beats to the average rap song on the airwaves today and you will see how much drastically better the Illmatic ones. Nas worked with some of the best producers ever, such as DJ Premier. he didn't just compile a bunch of dusty beats that sound like anything else.

Yeah, it wasn't really my opinion, many songs I like more on there, but it's very good still. Wild to me that you'd pick Royalty though I don't like the singing that much, the singing and drum drop or whatever towards the end is really cool though.

>dj premier
dude belongs in the museum

WEW LAD

i'm not even american and i know kmd

Wow chance the rapper bit this guys whole style

My nigga

...

Are you memeing? This is one of the most trash albums of 2014. It's boring, overrated garbage.

LOW END THEORY IS BORING AS FUCK THOUGH.

Lol

Almost everybody pretends to enjoy hip-hop. And I think it's the fact that it's such a young genre that makes it so dear to so many people today. But the truth is, hip-hop has no musical value. People only like it because they're deluded or they are afraid of being called racist if they say otherwise.

your taste is diarrhea

And pic related

(you)

I KEEP MY HEAD HIGGGGGGGGGGGH

literally everything except Illmatic, Low End Theory and Aquemini is at least sort of disputed

Madvillainy and Bizarre Ride are close to undisputed tho

Heeyyy I've been saying this forever.

These.

>mfw I was posting First Come First Served for months and put it in the sharethread
>mfw people bring it up regularly in hip-hop threads
>mfw I have no face

Feels good.

edgier than a razor factory

...

I didn't know a person could have such shit opinions.

...

OH MAN ITS GON GET DRASTIC UP IN THIS BITCH

...

>mamacita

jazz rap is so much more interesting with a backing band

underrated desu

this album is fucking overrated as fuck, it's literally pointless because all of the east coast/boom bap classic shit do this exact style, but significantly better. like why the fuck would I ever listen to Big L when Nas and A Tribe Called Quest exist?

@66502209

you're not getting my (You)'s faggot

shit opinion, shit taste

>Bizarre Ride
>3/10

Can't believe that none of you faggots posted this.

Stop.

Not enough to prevent it from being god-tier

>claims to appreciate a black cultural contribution
>calls black people niggers with the hard "er"
pick one
doom's flow is not monotonous. he has good wordplay and switches it up a good amount
i disagree
agreed

KMD was DOOM's old group

what would you say is an indisputable god-tier album

the only right answer

THEM COUNTRY BOYS ON THE RiiiIIIDE

forgot to attach image haha

*ALARM* PLEB, PLEB, PLEB *ALARM*

Kek @ u if you think illmatic is outdated off yourself

Because its pretty shitty

...

...

not this
this

Am i wrong

Not as good as ATLiens or Aquemini, but still top tier.

...

...

what's up with this kind of album cover art style? are they referring to something?
