1992: Electronic Music starts

1992: Electronic Music starts
92-00: IDM (best time for electronic music)
00-05: Electronic music is getting worse, but no bad because of japanese abstract noise and BoC
05-10: Becomes really bad due to EDM
10-Now: Dubstep kills electronic music. Some chance of recovery because of dudes like Huerco S and Arca

2012=RIP bleeps goodbye

I saw that ad in real life and it made me laugh

2000-2006: Music is changing

did you copy and paste this from a youtube comment?

i know this is bait, whatever

idm was well alive until at least 2005
edm started in the 80s, house and techno are both forms of edm
dubstep emerges in the early 00s and by 2005 it had a decent underground scene/folowing

the neutrinos have mutated

have you actually never seen the o.g. version?

1976: industrial music starts
1979: someone starts to put beats in industrial music. Industrial music dies as a result

>this is what noisefags actually believe

We should all be thankful this hipster piece of trash music has fizzled out. Time for guitar lead music once again. I'm ready for some real music after a time of nothing but nigger and bleep bloop music.

>1992: Electronic Music starts

1944: Electronic music starts
1960: Dub producers crossover academic to popular music
1975: YMO/Kraftwerk crossover rock and electronic music
1975: Hip hop plagarizes dub music and starts American reggae
1983: Electro producers crossover synthpop and funk
1984: House producers update disco with DJ remixes
1988: Aciiieeeeeeeeeed
1992: Top one, nice one, get sorted
1995: neckbeards make boring bloops for shut-ins
2002: Chavs make garage
2010: Vapormemes and other retarded internet microgenres
2010 - onwards: Kanye is god

acid house starts in 1985-86
hip hop wasn't a thing until 1978

Semantics

wow grizzly commercials are fucking retarded
i wouldnt buy anything based on this ad.

in 1940´s they would´ve just stated that ""rock n roll"" isnt real music amirite jazz people

Dubstep is pretty much over though. New trends are Future Bass and Trap (those might be dead by now idk) and in general it seems like EDM is going to fade into pop music and become a non-genre.

Music died when rock started.

Its all degenerate trash after that with zero talent.

Electronic music is way older than 1992

Can you post an acid track from that period? Like actual acid not just a 303.

>implying you can have acid house without a 303

only MASSIVE JUNGLE will save everything

SLEEZY D - I’ve Lost Control (1986)

I meant proper acid, not just some dude using a 303.

>Kanye is god

Cool thread you cunteye

But acid house is house + a 303

Check out this guy, and his earliest records. Not dance, but electronical music for sure.

ELECTRONIC MUSIC IS ONLY TECHNO, HOUSE, DRUM & BASS AND DUBSTEP YOU RETARDS

>1992: Electronic Music starts

uhh no

>05-10: Becomes really bad due to EDM

uhh no

>10-Now: Dubstep kills electronic music

uhh hardly

very poor bait

DNB will never die.

t. MC

whats going on is marketing companies started thinking that EDM is cool and anything cool is being overused until everyone hates it
thats why you got clothing stores, super markets etc playing EDM around the clock it broke through and has like maybe 1-5 years of spotlight before something else breaks through and makes EDM look cringy

SELECTA

no shit

DNB is Jungle's fedora wearing, reddit browsing younger brother

Its more the filter squelch than the actual 303. If the resonance is turned down and you dont use slides/accents the 303 sounds like pretty much any synth.
