If Let It Be was such a shitshow for the beatles and everyone was ready to kill eachother, how did Abbey Road, which was recorded AFTER let it be turn out so good?

'cause they knew it was the last one. They were like "I don't have to look at these fuckwits anymore after this so lets go out with a bang"

Why isn't bigman wearing shoes?

because he boot were too big for he gotdamn feet

he left his boots in the boot

1) Because Let It Be was recorded live in the studio, and by that time The Beatles had pretty much forgotten how to play live as a band as they had pre-Rubber Soul.
2) There were no cameras
3) The were in their own studio, at the times they wanted
4) The had made a backroom deal to as who's songs they could work on

>pre-Rubber Soul
I believe "Help!" was when that started.

>4) The had made a backroom deal to as who's songs they could work on

what?

John and George were annoyed that Paul's songs were getting worked on over theirs. The Get Back setlists were pretty much 75% Paul songs. After George quit, they struck a backroom deal and George stipulated more of his songs needed to be recorded by the band.
Nope. They were still "live band" sort of recordings, although embellished. It wasn't until Revolver when they started recording things they couldn't replicate live, and just gave up trying because they were sick of touring anyways.

Interesting

I want to say that when the Beatles were renegotiating their contracts in 1969, that moving forward into the 70s, they they would have been contractually obligated so that John, George and Paul each could contribute 4 songs each, and Ringo 1. That way there would have been balance.

Mostly because they knew it was going to be their last one, so decided to stop bickering and just put out a good album to end on.

>John, George and Paul each could contribute 4 songs each
>and Ringo 1

Gotta love these madmen.

Ringo didnt mind. He didnt even want a drum solo on the last song ever recorded by them. Guy is a great roboto drummer who doesnt want the spotlight

Well he had a good spotlight moment in the Help movie. Really love that, partly because of that.

Whoever said that it did?

Get Back was a much better album than the two you mentioned OP.

hes dead and corpses wear no shoes to the funeral

The Beatles hating each other thing is a meme. There were some tensions but it's completely overblown. The sad fact is that The Beatles grew up and it was time to do their own thing

what part was that? its been a decade since Ive watched it

The movie basically revolves around him getting a ring in the fanmail and a cult wanting to execute him for it. So it's a really Ringo-centered movie, in a way.

it was a real thing. Its well known the beatles kept splitting off, taking leave, and avoiding working with each other. george martin and geoff emerick both stopped working with them during this time. ringo walked out, george walked out, john quit first. in let it be movie you can see george getting pissed at paul telling him what to do
