I'd put house lower and put (real/good/not memewave) vaporwave above hip hop. Otherwise pretty accurate.
Swap 2 and 5
nah good jungle is certainly above house
ambient is boring, downtempo is superior
fookin right it is m8
speaking of which, jungle recs?
Jungle and Techno are incredibly overrated genres of music.
Everything Techno does, good Trance does better and doesn't get incredibly boring like Techno does.
95% of Trance is complete cheesy shit, 5% is fucking god of god tier. (JOOF recordings, some of the old underrated classics like BBE Seven Days and One Week, Goa Trance, proper Tech and prog trance like Northern Exposure)

DnB and Jungle have no depth, but are very fun to dance too. Most pretentious fans though. Basically "Gangsta" dance music for Wiggas.
House is very very hit and miss, insanely good out out there, but like Trance, 95% is complete shit and again, Trance does everything house does but better when it's good.
IDM is literally meme music for goths.
>95% of Trance is complete cheesy shit, 5% is fucking god of god tier

>IDM is literally meme music for goths

You mean industrial dance music? Thought the OP was talking about intelligent dance music desu
What genre is Aphex twin even in?

IDM
Its electronically produced music like everything else on the list.
hip hop is a a reggae subgenre
Literally everything is electronically produced these days.
Rock is still electromechanical music like other guitar based genres. Electronic music is anything on the OP list.
>Electronic music is music that employs electronic musical instruments and electronic music technology in its production,
>In general a distinction can be made between sound produced using electromechanical means and that produced using electronic technology.[1]
>Examples of electromechanical sound producing devices include the telharmonium, Hammond organ, and the electric guitar.
>Purely electronic sound production can be achieved using devices such as the theremin, sound synthesizer, and computer.[2]
>, sound synthesizer, and computer.
>implyiing rockbands dont use tehse
A small amount.
Haha! So you admit it then.
