paidprogramming2 was pretty good, didn't disappoint

I haven't heard it yet. Got a link?

What awful quality. I never use topsters so I have no idea how this shit works.

Thanks mate.

Bump.

>What have you been listening to lately?
Clams Casino - 32 Levels
Anderson Paak - Malibu
James Blake - The Colour in Anything
Still Brazy

>Favourite albums from this year?
Untitled Unmastered
Malibu
Lil Uzi vs the world

>What are you looking forward to?
Frank's album, Doomstarks, Danny's album. I probably forgetting a few.

Honestly I haven't been listening to much hip hop.

Yo what's with the hype over Lil Uzi Vert? I listened to one of his mixtapes and I didn't see the big deal

to be honest I don't fuck with any of the XXL freshman class besides Denzel

>What have you been listening to lately?
Just starting with some golden age stuff. Straight Outta Compton (not too bad), Doggystyle (I like), All Eyez On Me (eh), The Chronic (not my thing), that kinda stuff.

>What hip hop albums have you been listening to not from this year?
Run the Jewels, Yeezus, trying out Illmatic again and I'll do Ready to Die and some stuff from Tyler next.

>Favourite albums from this year?
Bottomless Pit. Only one that really interested me so far. I hardly know shit about this genre.

>What are you looking forward to?
For some reason I'm interested in the new Gucci, even though I don't think trap is my thing, and RtJ3.

...

Yeah I love Curry.
I don't really like The Chronic either but I'm a huge fan of 2001. I wish I could get into that sorta hip hop.
>I hardly know shit about this genre
You want some recs? What kind of sound do you like?

Its hard to explain. I think he has an interesting flow on each song, almost like Thug, where each one is different and catchy. Grab the wheel, and You Was Right are one of my favorite songs on Lil Uzi vs the world. I'm not sure what other people see in him, but I know I'm in for a good time when he releases something. Fuck I'm really bad at explaining this.

Paak is pretty good, I forgot who else was on it. Oh you should give Lil Herb a try.

Try Bizarre Ride II or Uptown Saturday Night. One of my favorites when it comes to older stuff.

All good man. I guess I just need to listen to him again.

I've listened to the entire frshman class, but it was just weak this year

He's supposed to be coming out with another tape soon according to his IG so look out for that.

None? I mean aside from Curry, Paak, and Uzi it did look pretty lackluster to me.

>what kind of sound do you like
I guess aggressive and/or catchy stuff is more my thing. I really enjoy Black Skinhead off Yeezus, but also Sea Legs from RtJ and For All My Niggaz off Doggystyle if that helps.
Lyrically I'm not too into tracks that are just giant ego strokes for the rapper(s), but the occasional one isn't bad.

>bizarre ride II or uptown saturday night
I'll give 'em a shot.

I really didn't like Paak, Uzi didn't leave an impact on me whatsoever except for the fact that he robbed a white girl before doing his cypher

>What have you been listening to lately?
Desiigner - New English
The singles off of DJ Khaled's Major Key
Hodgy Beats - They watchin Lofi
>What hip hop albums have you been listening to not from this year?
I've been listening to a lot of Jay Z, mostly Reasoanble Doubt. Also i've been getting into The Juggaknots and Gravediggaz.
>Favourite albums from this year?
Gucci Mane - Everybody Looking
OG Maco - Lord of Rage
Imperial - Curry
>What are you looking forward to?
RTJ3, SremmLife 2, DOOMSTARKS, The new Kid Cudi album.
It's a pretty good year for Hip-Hop.

actually been bumpin to this a lot recently

Wait your talking about their cyphers?

I'm talking about the freshman class in general
I'm just saying that is the only thing that Uzi has done worth remembering

Check out Killer Mikes R.A.P. Music if you want some aggressive.

Oh well if that's how you feel. I can see why people wouldn't enjoy Uzi. I think Paak released one of the best albums this year. Honestly there were a lot of people that didn't make the list that are a lot better. I think Maxo Kream was on it, Nyck, and Mick. Desiigner proves that majority of those rappers were thrown on there for popularity's sake, I don't think his mixtape was even out when they shot they finalized the list. (Which is surprising because I didn't think Paak was that popular.)

Freshman class in general seems like a quick corporate cash grab

bump

pathetic self bump

How is the desiigner tape?

I thought it was trash. I didn't mind the Timmy Turner single though.

It's filled with bangers. I'd say it's pretty damn good.

Not all bangers are good.

I actually heard 2 songs on it Timmy Turner and Make It Out. I didn't like TT at all, but I thought Make it out wasn't that bad.

Bump

Wait are clipping putting out another project?

Just finished listening to Zeroh- 0 Emissions 2, definitely recommend it, only 20 minutes as well.

This album is great.

Listen to Kemba - Negus

Also is masta ace falling season good? Because it feels like the equipment is going to be hella outdated but his rhyming is always good.

>used to literally only listen to hip-hop
>got into other music when I discovered this site but still loved hip-hop
>now, all hip-hop sounds the same to me especially shit that dropped in the last two years
>have no interest in listening to it anymore
I dunno. Maybe I burned myself out or something. What do you guys think?

fuck off Tiimmy Turner was art

it takes an incredible artist to make an understated, subtle banger like that

Desiigner has more talent in his little finger than your top 5 fav rappers

check out ours samplus and sans remission prod
