ITT: You, a NASA scientist, and project leader for the Voyager 3 space probe (Don't ask me how that happened) in a token of gratitude for your contributions to space exploration, are allowed to choose 1 song to be put on to the Voyager 3 Golden Record. What do you pick?
I want the aliens to find this, and with their non-terrestrial years spend centuries attempting to decipher it musically, eventually reaching Earth to ask who could have made such a hauntingly beautiful song and ferry it into space, and have someone tell them it's a collection of recordings of incidents where our adolescent forms were sexually abused.
The Main Street Electrical Fire - 47 Minutes of White Noise (Does Exactly What It Says on the Tin)
I want to show them the most random song ever* *most random one for someone that can only listen up to 22100 hz, if they have a different listening range, it wont be the most random song ever
Jason Hernandez
Bob Dylan - Desolation Row
Christian Rodriguez
fucking NASA retards
Jaxson Sullivan
popular music is popular because payola. payola put a curtain on all other music ever made, making impossible to people listen to other stuff no matter how much they would like
What you are doing is like saying tarzan dont like pizza, doritos, icecream or gatorade, because, well, he doesn't eat or drink those stuff
Mason Young
>fucking NASA retards ALMOST EVERYONE IS A MUSICAL PLEB Presidents are Serial Killers are Soldiers are Psychiatrist are Medical Scientists Astronauts
David Nelson
>All those classical pieces
Christopher Howard
>implying that's not the best music to represent the west >implying contemporary music has had any real innovations that classical didn't already cover
Well, the Bach makes sense. If you're going to send something which is likely incomprehensible to aliens, you want it to be recognisably structured and formulaic so that they're more likely to recognise that it's patterns were created by an intelligence, rather than the product of some natural process.

>ITT: autists think their shitty music is a good representation of Earth
