What's the best city to celebrate New Years in?

I'm not as much looking for a club scene as I'm looking for a place to eat good food and get hammered with the locals.

Copenhagen

why are japs in this thread gay

Yokohama with me

Are foreigners this dumb?

Because they can't sleep with any girls.

Now remove yourself from this thread

Why don't you go to a library?

A temple or shrine in quiet rural city, go to Hatsumoude with your Japanese friends.
Big cities like Kyoto, Osaka, Tokyo are always having many options.

I'll look them up

Do you know what's happening in my panties right now? *giggles*

Oh, I'll be here for this year's NY, working. I'm already thinking 17/18.

Neat, thanks for the recommendations.

Also, do anyone in these threads ever meet up? I'd be down for meeting some random Japanese user while over there.

Dumb ass japs

I saw some gaijins in this thread met up with some Japanese anons, they all have namecode to recognize mutually.

I know hiragana, where should I progress from there?

Haven't you ever learn other languages?

galgame

Japanese is the first language I'm learning, I have a good handle on hiragana, I'm just kind of confused with what I should focus my studies on next

Katakana and then Murakami Haruki

memorise every single individual kanji

>the first language I'm learning.
you must be under 13 years old, you're not available to be here.

>doing WWOOF in Japan from January
>going to be staying with a nice elderly Japanese couple
>write back and forth with them
>there's a German girl staying with them who's been there since May
>they tell me how she's almost like their daughter and how she's nice and polite
>the German girl leaves to go back home
>they start writing about how the farm feels empty without her and how lonely they are now and how they're having a hard time without young people to help them
>mfw

82 days. I'll be there then. Hang in there, cure elderly couple.

>WWOOF
What the fuck is this shit and why would you do this of all things in your life?

Was English not implied? I'll go somewhere else then, thanks for the help for those who gave it, I appreciate it.

what is the purpose of your learning?

Japanese start to learn other language(English) when they become 13 years old.
That's why the guy told you must be under 13years old.

Get proper text book and learn grammar.

A worldwide organisation of organic farms. You sign up for a small fee for each country and then get access to a list of hosts all over the country where you can come and stay with them.

You work 6 hours a day for 3 meals and lodging. AKA budget long-stay holiday with included get-fit work.

Are you doing this just for the experience or a just a way of getting to Japan

Have you done it before?

Fun, and I am genuinely interested in the language
Do you have a recommendation?

Both. And for getting the fuck out of the city and get hard from doing manual work.

Nope, but I've heard from plenty of people who've done it that it's great.

Besides, I'm a 6'2 240lb Scandinavian. Need me to chop wood in -10C and a snowstorm? Mondai-nai desu, I brought my own axe.

Do you like Japan?

I like Japan!

Many people here recommend Genki. I started with Nakama and moved to Genki after a few years.

I saw many Japanese learner in this thread use ''genki Japanese''.
Read OP and there are some useful links at there.

I hope you'll post here after you start your work. I'm interested to hear about your experience.

Do you have any farming experience? Do they just accept anybody? What was the fee?

日本だいすき!(is that right?)
I'll have to try that, thank you!

>Japanese start to learn other language(English) when they become 13 years old.
But forget it all when they leave highschool

Maybe

>I brought my own axe.
You got to be kidding me.
When will you come exactly?

feel free to ask us, buddy. :3

Don't come to here

I don't think Kyushu is the place for chopping wood in -10C and a snowstorm

2bh, we don't usually have to use English at real life, only for school. Obligation brings you nothing.
I hope learning English gives something attractive things for us except white cute girls.

America: Just go to Japan already, you fucking weeaboo!

Japan: Go back to your country.

what if your jap hosts starve you or neglect to feed you, and you don't have a way of contacting anyone because they have no wifi or net connection

Which one actually had an experience coming to Japan?

>Do you have any farming experience?
I've had my own tiny community garden, and I have 10+ years of outdoor experience. But never straight-up farmwork. Biggest challenge for me will probably be to slaughter a chicken.

>Do they just accept anybody?
Pretty much, but the hosts aren't forced to accept you. You need to be an appealing person and make a good profile. Also, there are rules you need to follow.

>What was the fee?
5500JPY for a a years membership.

You really think I'll buy a new axe of Japanese steel, when I have a handforged Swedish hatchet? You must not know Scandinavians.

Yah, I get that. I chose the south to avoid the cold, actually.

I'm an /out/ist. I'm bringing fishing and hunting gear.

Plus, the farm is like 2km from a rural town with a store. I'll be fine.

>awn axe
How can you take it to the airplane?
But I can guess the axe is pretty good, post pic of the axe if you have it now.

How long are you planning to stay? It sounds like something that would be really comfy for a week and then I would panic and think "what have I done?"

The pic I posted is the same on I have. I'll put it in my check in luggage, then it's no problem. Same for the knife I'll be bringing, pic related. I've read up on Japanese knife laws since I'll be needing these tools for my outdoor life.

A year. January '17 - January '18 on a Working Holiday visa. My WWOOF membership ends in September, and then I'll hike around or get a part time job or something.

I have been to Japan~

I want a gay experience in Japan

Yes, you should be careful if you want to use your own knife and axe, because Japanese laws are always very strict to them.
Thanks for pic.
And...watch out hot and humid weather in Japan.

>parents are arguing for like 2 hours and I have no idea why

>find out it's because my mom took cinnamon rolls out of the oven too early and put icing on them already so she couldn't put them back in

>can't afford to move away from amerifat parents because I'm a NEET

I need a qt Japanese girl to save me from this shit country and let me live with them and also cuddle me while we sleep.

go to Shinjyuku 2 chome.

How long and which city became your favorite?

Japanese knife law states that:
>any blade over 15cm requires a permission
>you cannot bring a blade with you unless you have a reasonable purpose
>even then, it must not be easily accessible for the person, e.g. be in the front pocket

Neither the knife or axe is over 15cm, and I'll have both securely packed in my backpack together with a shitload of other camping gear whenever I'm not using them.

It's almost the same laws as in Denmark.

If it's over 15cm knife, you can't bring bus and train without permission, too.

Did you decide which area you will stay? Kyushyu?

I wanted to go south, so I chose to send applications out to hosts in Kyushu and Okinawa. The couple I'm going to stay with replied and seemed nice, and they've been hosts for 7 years now. They also speak English a bit, and are willing to help me learn at least conversational Japanese.

>それで、日本人恋人と一緒に ニュージーランド に戻ってきても いいんだ?

pathetic
girls don't like NEET losers like you

are you on a troll hunt?

Okay, then I want a qt Japanese girl to call me a loser and spank me and kick my balls with her bare feet.

Kyusyu and Okinawa? Nice, I only visited there for my Summer vacation, tho.
Food is good and people are nice,,,just they have typhoons too many, tho.
Okinawa has very beautiful beaches. enjoy.
I have to go by now, talk again sometime.
