I enjoy Future, but I have to be in a certain mood for trap flavoured hip hop. Not even if I was drinking or anything. It's just not something I listen to often.

I don't know how people listen to it on the regular. I do enjoy it, but I love hip hop for the lyrical content. I love great beats of course, and sometimes they can even outshine the MC, but I definitely come to hip hop for the lyrical content.

Yeah I really agree with that. I think the main reason is that radio music doesn't try to focus on lyrical content because it's suppose to have mass appeal, and not everyone wants to think very deeply when they just casually listen to the radio

I find it sad. I really really enjoy music, of all kinds, and lyrical content is a very important factor to me. Obviously not ALL the time, but most of the time. I think people find it weird how much I enjoy music.
