Fucking lmao, Iceland was settled almost exclusively by Norwegians, Leifr's father was literally born in Norway, and Leifr was specifically appointed by the Norwegian king to christen the people of Greenland. Why the fuck would he travel to Norway and promise the Norwegian king to do as he commanded if he had no loyalty to Norway and the Norwegian throne? If his father hadn't settled Greenland, Leifr wouldn't even have travelled there in the first place. If anything he was a Norwegian unless you can provide solid evidence that Iceland was indeed a nation state at the time of his birth, and not just a Norwegian settlement. That would at best make him a Norwegian-Icelander.
Just waiting for a Greenlander to show up and claim him for Greenland as he spent most of his life there.
