Post your favorite album released after a decade long hiatus

pic related is my choice, fresh yet still keeps up with their original sound, album rocks so hard

and it has been nearly a decade since then

38 years since their last and 41 years since First Utterance.

Beyond and Farm are both god-tier, like better than Bug and all of the Barlow-less albums.

anyway, runners-up:

bis [see attached]
cibo matto
blur
sleater-kinney
pop group
swervedriver
faith no more

Gave this a listen and wow, this is great
Took a little while to catch on but I really dig the vocals, nice one

I'll have to check out their earlier stuff soon

Don't talk shit about Bug, its the best by a country mile.
Seeing Dino Jr in November, so hoping its a good setlist and not too heavy on Give A Glimpse

I see a lot of people shitting on Green Naugahyde, but it's better than Brown Album and Antipop imo.

Brown Album had the best drums out of all the albums though

It was fantastic, honestly one of my favorite albums of this decade. Catchy abrasive poppy post punk.

Damn, this album fucks me up in a really good way.

Pic is my choice. Vashti Bunyan comes back thirty years later and does a wonderful, warm, intimate folk album in the same vein as "Just Another Diamond Day".

It's a great album despite Layne not being part of it
