I need some information about her harsh noise record

What harsh noise record? From where it originated this meme?

What that even means?

youtube.com/watch?v=dkwMf0BpgSU
4:35

Maybe she joked. She likes some industrial stuff, so I'd rather see her making an industrial album.

>She likes some industrial stuff
Maybe she joked, she said that she will probably make noise record, so I'd rather see her making a noise record.

Noise is an industrial too

most of grimesfans have never been outside of Grimes threads

it's a riddle! >:3

...

Noise is way more extreme than industrial. They're not the same thing. Seriously, compare Merzbow with Throbbing Gristle or Einstürzende Neubauten.

patiently waiting for medieval warfare

Next week, for sure. I'd say Monday or Tuesday.

The other thread was deleted for a reason.

What reason? The troll overtook the thread?

they didnt love it

how long until claire stops sharing inside jokes on trashique and abandons it

it's probably dying out because they're not touring as hard right now

followed and downloaded a witch house spotify playlist and only halfaxa song in it is my sister says the saddest things, meanwhile it has like 4 songs of "sidewalks and skeletons"?????

maybe I'm stupid by getting mad at this, but isn't halfaxa witch house?

not really, it's not witch house in it's purest form, there are lots of other influences

the most witch house grimes song is not even on Halfaxa
youtube.com/watch?v=gUxCeVupemA

youtube.com/watch?v=ur9VHJ8hqaA
what did she mean by this

it it her?

what did she mean by this?

literally nothing

...

...

She's very expressive during her live shows

sometimes just fucking full on aggression it's amazing
she can get scary at times. not like, scary as in I feel frightened, but just very intimidating

filename

...

I wouldn't call any of Grimes' songs witch house. Somewhat witch house inspired, maybe.

98-99% of witch house out there is pure shit.

yeah, her Russian verses are fucking scary too

she has some song in her setlist where in the end she just says something in a high-pitched voice and then keeps fucking screaming I don't remember which one it is

.

yessssssssss

...

The end of Realiti (live version)?

...

possibly

anyone have lyrics/a transcript?

...

...

it's Scream. she sings Aristophanes parts in russian

yeah yeah, I know, old Pushkin poem and whatnot. Scream overall is very intense live

youtube.com/watch?v=bWiPHQdIZUE

>"Dying while dreaming, it sounds like corporate art. Break bread with an infidel and meet me after dark."

I need some guidance here, i've been listening to visions for 2 months. Now i'm ready to procede with more of her work.

>Where do i go next?

she looks like a zombie

I've heard it isolated before
I'd replace sounds with tastes, and "meet me after dark" with "plunge into the dark"

eat a dick

you haven't gone for Art Angels yet?

I'm the exact opposite, only heard the hits and Art Angels and am probably going to Visions next

Are you more of a pop or alternative music person?
If the former - Art Angels. If the latter - her earlier stuff (like Geidi Primes)

And definitely check out Darkbloom (imo people tend to forget about that one.)

Do you like upbeat synthpop?
- If yes, go to Art Angels.
- If not, go backwards: Darkbloom, Halfaxa, Geidi Primes.

Anyway, listen to all her albums.

She's been saying "sounds" in the live show - at least as of recently.

And, it's a bad thing?

she is one

Beware of the Grimezombie!

GRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIMES

...

Are there any grimes wallpapers?

Just a quick googling: wall.alphacoders.com/by_sub_category.php?id=193843

i use this

that's nice

she acts like one

Squished like that? You didn't hear about aspect ratio, bro?

thanks
>aspect ratio
i don't need that

I think I can use it too

>you will never have a friendship like this

why live?

To listen to future Grimes projects, uhhh... idk

what's grimes' heaviest song?

Heaviest as in what? Most emotionally intense? Loudest? Help me out here.

sonically, I like heavy synths

eight (or how i drilled lavren memeberry in the ass)

Scream or Ya Vas Lyubil. Maybe even Kill V. Maim. Also Flesh Without Blood is pretty heavy live.

Pin? Maybe, idk

HAHAHHAHAHAHA

be a body

Imo a lot of her stuff has very heavy synth (as in - if you're listening to it through a good set of speakers or headphones - woah.) Gonna say Symphonia IX or Circumambient - really everything from Visions is very synth heavy imo (Art Angels has plenty of synths as well, but most of the really loud action on that album comes from the non-synth instruments.)

what does this dumb shitpost even mean

>what's x heaviest song?

lavren memeberry eh..

Watch this live version of Symphonia IX, ESPECIALLY the last part, which is heavy and intense: youtube.com/watch?v=YSWwVYuqsVM

The beats with their huge reverb sound massive.

it just another pop artist that shitspammed with it constantly.

newfags
probably Favriel or Caladan, but I'm not sure, there're lots of distorted basses on her first albums, or maybe something from her live shows

newfag? ok

What are you talking about? Favriel & Caladan aren't heavy. Scream is way heavier than them.

she'll look like this in 10 years

Seriously, listen to Kill V. Maim live (turn up the volume): clyp.it/zulhkjwz

Even Go is heavier than those songs you mentioned.

why would live shows be the heaviest?

nope, they're heavy, listen better
>Kill V. Maim live
maybe
>Go
no, it's not

...

omg are you serious?

bass arrangements are well suited for club environments

saturn princess sounds very good as it is

Not that user, but I think the new live version of Be a Body is pretty heavy: clyp.it/co2n2tco

Turn up the volume. A proper banger.

im probably focusing on the message of the song

its very bass oriented it has those high notes and that hard rythm id probably say its it

She is constantly re-orchestrating/sonically expanding all of the songs that go into her live shows (I saw her perform live back in June, and for the song Realiti alone there must've been at least five or six added instrumental tracks to compared to anything yet released.) It's one of the main reasons why I highly recommend checking out her live show if you have a chance. Because - unlike most record-perfect pop performances - there is always some original musical content to be had.

Just forgot about it: Venus Fly live is also quite heavy: clyp.it/bziuvbhd

great crowd

Also the guitar on Flesh Without Blood live is damn loud: clyp.it/smf5sfax
