Lyrics and vocals are better, i´ll give you that. But the song was Mechanix when mustaine was still in the band and didn´t have the stupid bridge and Hetfield was singing it, and lyrics mean shit so that would be better.

Nah, Mechanix is far more intense with its overall delivery and wastes far less time. Mustaine's vocals are far from technical, but he really got the raw punky feel down far better than James ever did.

In not falling for the "your metal sucks, listen to real metal" bit. Have you listened to music other than metal? Normally when lyrics are there they mean something, and when they don't the music itself is not that good.

Metal is one of my favorite genres of music, but yes I listen to other genres. You're projecting quite a bit, son.
I'm not suggesting there's any "real metal" out there, every subgenre has its gems. I was simply wondering what the extent of your exposure to the genre was, especially when making such a bold statement.
And your statement about lyrics is that of a true pleb. Yes, great lyrics are a wonderful thing in music, but they're not what defines it.
