Hello Sup Forums,
I need new headphones. What should I get for
amazon.com
but also this should be in Sup Forums
Read the fucking sticky
Beats by Dr Dre
Shure SRH240a's are 50 dollars and sound as good as some 100-200 dollar headphones.
K550 or K553 Pro if you need closed
DT990 250 ohms if you want open
Audio technica m50x, Beyerdynamic DT 770/990, AKG K 240, Senn HD 598/ Momentum
> Unironically suggesting the mementum
Drink bleach
Did the Momentum kill your family or something? They aren't that bad to be that assblasted
My phillips work good
There's far better options for that price. Especially considering the sound is absolute shit and they're uncomfortable for long periods.
>There's far better options for that price
Yes, that's why I listed everything else before even mentioning them, and you can snatch them on Amazon used for ~$99, which is cheap, even though there are better options. But the Momentum has an in-line remote, which OP may want, idk
OP didn't say anything about what genres he likes, if he wants them to be portable, if he wants an in line remote , etc. I just listed options.
Got any links pham?
get the DT990s they're the best for the money
AIAIAI makes dope ass headphones
love my 558s
Yes. Get Philips SHP9500. They kick ass. Search them up. They're quite possibly better than even the Sennheisers that cost around $180. Some people compare them to HD600s. With price in mind, they really can't be beat.
Just bought hd330 did I fucked up(my budget couldn't get more than that)
get this youtube.com
i like this thread.
planning on getting Sony MDR-7506 or 9s, is there a better choice? preferably big headphones. really huge, like the xb1000. I hate on-ears
Price range, genres? Do you want portability or you gonna use them at home exclusively? Open back or closed?
>no more than $200
>dont really listen to edm or dubstep that much so I'm not a big fan of those popular bass-ridden headphones
>at home most of the time
>it can be either
Sennheiser HD380 Pro
Okay. I'll be going off Amazon prices
HD 598 or 558 (598 is great)
Audio Technica M50x (closed, portable, best starter headphone)
Beyerdynamic DT 880 or 990 or 770 (990 is open, 770 is cheapest w/ similar sound to 880s, AMP might be needed for Beyers)
AKG K 240
Audio Technica 900X (open)
AKG K550 (closed reference)
Any of those sub $200 will make you happy
Thanks! Will definitely check them all out.
