I like loveless. Where do I go next?
Anyone wanna drop an essential shoegaze chart on me?
Anywhere really
ptfptfptfpf
seriously not a single Swervedriver album on any of those charts?
Someone give me a good shoegaze album to get me into shoegaze
Have you listened to Loveless?
If you couldn't get into that I would recommend
>Nowhere
>Mezcal Head
Thanks man
>Monoral
np senpai
Shoegaze had the greatest opening tracks, like:
>Only Shallow
>You Made Me Realise (EP but whatevs)
>Never Lose That Feeling (same)
>Alison
>Leave Them All Behind
>Seagull
>Cherub Rock (dunno if shoegaze but still)
>Little Dipper
>Isle of the Cheetah
Drop You Vivid Colors is easily one of my favorite openers ever
speaking of oliver ackerman, who else is insanely in love with a place to bury strangers
APTBS was the first show I ever went to.
nice did you enjoy it? saw them open for j&mc, was great
Yeah totally, it was actually pretty recent, they played with Creepoid and King Woman and closed the show by bringing Creepoid on stage with them and playing I Will Die and it was like 70% noise it was great.
i've been a staff member on one of their concerts in a festival
pretty crazy, they began their show by smashing a guitar, then midway to the show they crowdsurfed into somewhere only to comeback 10 minutes later and finish everything off by smashing another guitar, was great tho
reminder
Just listened to that
swirlies moer liek girlies haha
It's 40% filler, but it's good.
...
they suck

Would add
Pains of Being Pure at Heart - Belong
BJM - Evergreen
Whirr- Leave (preface doesn't really count)
Titlefight - Hyperview
Nothing - Guilty Of Everything and Tired of Tomorrow
Britty is leaving Pity Sex
R.I.P to the only decent emogaze band
Ever since I heard this youtube.com
S/T
Really? RIP
Their latest album was a little underwhelming anyway
yeah, evergreen is a great track
What did you think of Turnover's last record?
I thought they did shoegaze better than Title Fight.
Might as well include She Found Now from m b v.
Excellent song. It feels like what would happen if Sometimes and To Here Knows When made love.
I know britpop is a meme but I can't bring myself to hate Nowhere. Vapor Trail hits me too hard
Can anyone post darkgaze albums?
britpop is p okay desu
What's your favorite sub-genre of shoegaze?
She Found Now is so underrated. I can't believe I hear almost no one talk about it (I'm pretty sure I'm the only one who posts about it in /shugazi/). It's honestly Sometimes done better.
Dream pop is the only one I've really looked into but I find myself enjoying noise pop more.
Excuse me
youtube.com
dafuq is darkgaze? Do you mean blackgaze?

Got any shoegaze covers of non-shoegaze songs?
ethan is such a qt :3 :3 :3
That sounds amazing
I like Blonder Tongue a bit better. Less interlude tracks.
Honestly I count Cherub Rock. No other Smashing Pumpkins really, but that one counts for me.
He didn't layer the guitar tracks 90x for nothing.
Noise pop is best, but not enough people appreciate blackgaze in these threads
Where the fug is Breather by Chapterhouse here?
desu i remind myself by listening to it every day
It is underrated. Just the first half second, the way that wall of sound comes in to start off the record, was enough for me to love the song.
cherub rock isn't shoegaze :/
it's got the spirit but loses the feeling
>FEEEEELING FEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELING FEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELING
are we considering new title fight shoegaze?
Hi everyone
I like Slowdive, MBV, Beach House, Alcest and Have A Nice Life. What should I listen to next?
Anyone in Tokyo want to see cruyff in the bedroom on Saturday?
Stella Luna
you all guys are missing catherine wheel
LSD & The Search For God EP
>Stella Luna
Care enough to share a sample?
also Medicine - One More
Whats the best Asobi Seksu album to listen to after Citrus
those two closing tracks though
how the fuck is turnover emo, they are a poprock band with reverb and a superego
Their debut is much more alt rock sounding, whereas the album after, Hush, is a lot more ethereal and fuzzed
They Spent Their Wild Youthful Days
>Best Track
In Harmony New Found Freedom/Sounds of Sebring
>Runner Up
Two Girls Kissing
>Worst Track
Sunn
Blonder Tongue
>Best Track
Tree Chopped Down
>Runner Up
Wrong Tube/Vigilant Always
>Worst Track
Jeremy Parker
>Overrated
Pancake
>Underrated
>His Life Of Academic Freedom
Also, does anyone else really like "What To Do About Them"?
2016 recs?
