This pisses me off the most

>download album

remember if it looks like pish, smells like pish, it is pish

>download album

>the folder consists of the same image of Kevin Spacey copied a hundred times

>stream album on spotify
>feel good because the artist gets a tenth of a cent
>rest of my monthly fee goes to the spotify corporation
>can't listen to the album next week because it's taken down
>can listen to every album from the artist except for one
>can't organize my own music into genres if i want to

it kinda is desu

>Downloading an album

I support the artist by buying merchandise and going to shows, which sends most of the money to, yknow, the artist, and not a corporation

Whether it's legal or not doesn't matter. You're never going to be prosecuted for it. The amount that it supports the artist is utterly negligible compared to buying merchandise, physical copies, and going to shows.

So you get all the benefits of pic related by pirating instead of streaming - at what cost? Nothing, as long as you still support the artists you like with merchandise, physical copies, and concert attendance.

Legality does not matter at all, because prosecution is almost nonexistent.

>You're never going to be prosecuted for it.
my mom's friend's son got sued for pirating music

might not have been just music. software piracy is a bit more serious

>download an album

This upsets me more

> Album art isn't named cover

What kind of pleb doesn't rename the album art as "folder" ?

you must not have downloaded an album

this shit can be fixed in like 2 secs with foobar, stop using garbage software

I need to see this

>The track number is the artist name
>It's like this for a whole discography

...

>2013
damn it seems like just yesterday that I fell for this

>numbers don't start with 0
>numbers start with zero

best thing to happen to sharethread in a long time

>1
>2
>3
>4
>5
>6
>7

>1.09

meant it in this way

>download album
>all the tags are in the file name

>download album
>it's missing a track

>download album
>there is a wrong song, a live version

What always gets me is that at some point, someone intentionally changed the capitalization of the tags so that they were all in lower case. Or they cared enough to actually go out, buy the CD, rip it and upload it online, but not to get the tags right. Why?

>download an album
>nothing is tagged

thats a rare sponge you got there

lemme have that

>download an album
>the only track missing is the best song on the album
