Demon days or plastic beach?

demon days or plastic beach?

plastic beach has more superior songs, but demon days is more consistently good

This. I can listen to Demon Days front to back without skipping, Plastic Beach has some substantial duds on it.

This x2

TO THE SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUN

Demon days

both are trash which are similar in quality

no need to compare them

Plastic Beach, fuck demon days.

Demon days, fuck plastic beach

The Fall

Demon Days

Holy shit my nigga

Plastic Beach is their best album

I think Demon Days is their best album. Btw what are you guys expecting from their new album?

This.Demon days is insanely overrated, plastic beach has amazing songs, way better front to back
opposite for me

>guys expecting from their new album?

Some free jazz and dreampop would be great. I've read supposed people's comments that got to hear a bit of the new record who said it's got a sped up Demon Days vibe. Don't know how to feel about it.

Plastic Beach has a pretty comfy cover.

Neither of them are better than the other. Both have really great songs but if I try to listen to them all the way through I get tired of it.

Demon Days is an extremely boring album. it has a lot of individually good songs, but as a whole it's just fucking dull.

Plastic Beach is more engaging that way.

as usual scaruffi nails it

gorillaz fans can only whine in disagreement. they cannot explain how he is wrong

>Scruffy admits he finds them interesting and just summarizes the most obvious musical aspects of each track

He's not saying anything of substance; this is like in 8th grade where a kid writes a book report instead of a persuasive essay.

you don't understand english, that's the problem

he's saying that they are facile songs that rely on novelty tricks to cover up their lack of quality

Yes

It's really odd that you think he is saying something complicated enough for anyone to be confused. He just isn't a very well reasoned critic. It's virtually impossible to be one when he writes such short reviews. Even here he says the album relies on rhythmic tricks to sustain interest. So what? What does that even mean in terms of the quality of the music? Could one not argue that most music in some way uses a rhythmic trick (especially when that could have as far a range as bouncing synth pop to easy listening)? It's impossible to say that he is wrong because he isn't saying much of anything at all. The songs have rhythmic devices in them. That statement is correct. That also is barely a review though.

Why not both?

>pedoruffi

You really hit the nail on the fucking head here.
