Rage Against the Machine

Did you like them or not?

Yeah. They accidentally inspired a bunch of shitty nu-metal, but they were good.

I like Fist Full Of Steel

Weirdly enough my Dad loves them

they were basically the ultra cucks of the early 90s

>did
still do

They were the main inspiration for Limp Bizkit but I forgive them

i loved them. and over the top (/flat out politically ignorant) lyrics aside they are still a pretty solid band. i never listen to them nowadays but they and system of a down are the only bands i liked in middle school that i would still call decent bands

They give Muse some really good outros

I had a weird phase in my life where I only listened to RATM, System Of a Down, Paramore and Wu-Tang Clan. I used to like them but I've grown up and moved on.

I don't mind them, I just hate the pseudo-socialist rhetoric bullshit.

Like, Zach isn't an anarchist, he's not a badass, he fucking LOVES his money, etc. Give me a fucking break.

>raging against the machine! but sold out at the first opportunity
>inspired a generation of shitty rap-rock and nu metal, singlehandedly killing rock
>BASED TOM MORELLO can barely play guitar without gimmicks and pedals
>politically conscious band that spent the Bush administration making weepy power ballads

worst of all time

fuck the 1%'ers man, fuck capitalism! fuck these rich cocksuckers! UGH!!!

???? ...eh?

Everyone just hates on LP because it reminds them of how fucking cringy they were at the time. First 2 albums are pretty solid.

I absolutely love their music. Probably my favorite band of the 90's. However, the hypocrisy in their lyrics and beliefs is so overwhelming it takes away from the music in the end. But still not enough for me to spartan kick something when a RATM song comes on
