Neil Young - Trans (1982) [320kbps] >Synthpop, Electronic, New Wave. Neil meets Kraftwerk. >"On paper this doesn't work...Neil Young singing like a robot. In practice it should fail, yet somehow it succeeds on so many levels." The weirdest tracks are the best. Sample: youtu.be/eblFQppJfyg Download: www24.zippyshare.com/v/QXO49kGB/file.html

After I read that Brian Eno's Sombre Reptile (on Another Green World) was inspired by Burmase music, I wanted to give a try to this foreign music; here what I have found:
V/A. White Elephants & Golden Ducks: Enchanting Musical Treasures from Burma (1997) [320kbps] >Traditional, folk, pop. Nice intrduction to this musical landscape. >"An array of contemporary and traditional music from Burma; it contains aspects of neighbors cultures (as China, India, and Thailand) but has a unique and lovely sweetness that aligns it more with Balinese and even Hawaiian sensibilities. The prevalent instruments are pitched drums, small gongs and cymbals, the hne (an oboe-like double reed), and the saung gauk (a Burmese harp), often accompanied by voice. Here, the singers tend toward the languid, with silvery vocals plaintively crooning love songs or delicate percussion that evanesces like morning fog. This makes for an ingratiating quality that still manages to sound natural and innocent rather than feigned." Richard Wagner - The 1927-1932 HMV Potted Ring Cycle >Pearl has assembled, for the first time under one roof, all 122 sides that comprise the celebrated HMV albums of extended Ring Cycle excerpts issued in the late twenties and early thirties. Many vocal aficionados consider this era to be the apex of Wagner singing in this century, with Schorr's virile yet compassionate Wotan, Leider's agile and authoritative Brünnhilde, and the unique Melchior, whose peerless Siegfried is heard here nearly complete. Moreover, these artists often appeared together in Europe and at Covent Garden, and had ample opportunity to hone their collective insights into these elusive roles. >Wonderfully mastered by Pearl. Essential for any Wagnerian. youtube.com/watch?v=I5i3GjwIyb8 mega.nz/#!axQH0T7I!a7dFeh6yk_xHJwJtNI8ZQDz6VrtvlAAfQqb2NKDP06k
