So sorry that it's long, but it's an incredible song worth listening to.
0/10, that was like nails on a chalkboard
Orcas - an absolute
it's a fun track, but not one I'd see myself listening to all the time.
Not bad. The hook is good, and so is the lyrics' message, but I feel like the flow could be improved upon. 6.5/10
6/10, not bad but kinda drags on
5/10
It was pretty good until the horns kicked in
6.5/10
comfy but not my cup of tea
8/10
Thanks user
its a little too grand and feel-goody for me idk how to describe it, i can appreciate it though
video is cool as hell
Instrumentals were great. I think the vocals were too loud and didn't really bring much to the table, but I may have to check these guys out.
Wut u doin stealing muh song?
3.5-4/10. The beat is alright and he has a decent voice but it's uninteresting and the edgy "the government will not be killing me" thing at the end was cringe
vapid lyrics
deja vu guitaristry
general trash song
ew, I didn't even listen to the song but that last bit you mention makes it a -1/10
You best like funk brotha
fuuuuuuunky
8.6/10
never really got boring and I enjoyed the vocals
nice funky take on one of my favorite songs ever
7/10
What
toro y moi - rose quartz
its a slow builder dont worry about the first minute lol
Unoriginal and yawn worthy honestly
I'm not really a fan of this style of music in the first place.
Lyrics are meh
She has an ok voice.
Not amazing, but ok.
Doubt I'd listen again though.
Sorry but not sorry if she's your waifu or some shit.
The song you rated was right below mine. IT WAS MY SONG.
And I got skipped over :(
sounds like proto-nirvana
didnt like the vocals too much but the instrumentation was ight. imo would do better as an instrumental with a melody over top
Oh sorry, I was doing that because I thought no one was going to rate it since it didn't have a link
kept me in it, took a lot of cool turns and those strings comin in near the end kinda won me over. I was worried at first it was just gonna be every other blues rock song
I give this song five and a half yawns out of ten. But seriously though, it probably would be good music to zone out to and clean my room.
I'LL NEVER FORGIV4 YOU user
7/10, it was cool when the organs came in
And I dig King Missile for the Detachable Penis song
Actually, I take that back. I'm listening through again and it's giving me some good vibes. 7/10.
...
1/10
hate banjos
wow very deep listening
7/10, it gives me a Talking Heads Vibe
y u salt tho
This is most definitely not my thing.
Really bland composition, no reason for it to be 6 minutes long.
His voice is terribly nasal and whiney, and the lyrics have the complexity of an angsty 16 year old's diary.
It seems like he tried to sacrifice songwriting for passion but he forgot the passion too and just whined into the microphone instead for a few minutes.
Generic angsty punk.
Comfy as fuck
Very cool. 8/10.
an instrument is just the way a song is performed. there are many other merits upon which to judge, and to ignore those show that you are not thinking about what you consume, but rather listening for surface or "aesthetic" pleasures
>white
>doo-wop
Try again
youtube.com
why thank you
Middling instrumental. Not bad but not particularly good either. 5/10
true.
the song itself was still shit tho. sorry b. try again.
Hah.
Nice.
Knew some clovers songs but not that one.

Shit bangs
it's incredibly catchy, I wish I could form a barbershop quartet just do that song

Lyrics in one of the comments
I'm actually a huge Lord Infamous and 3 6 fan so I've already heard that song plenty of times. Just listened to it again for shits and gigs and I mean hell ya, it's a great track. RIP. 8/10
yo I swear this is the weirdest shit ever, I was literally just thinking about posting "Brown Sugar"
Fuck. Wanted to try the next one down that I maybe hadn't heard and it ends up being one I've heard by one of the worst artists of the 2010's. Fuck Fetty Wap
youtube.com
I m-made this
I only recently got into D'Angelo and the cover of this song is amazing imo. I really need to listen to the rest of his albums.
Fetty Wap resurrected Hip Hop after Drake ruined it
6/10. Pretty good rock and synth production. Guy's rapping is serviceable I guess. Pretty good song but not something I would come back to.
I've only heard "Brown Sugar" to be honest, but I'll at least listen to the one you posted for now
Check this track too. The whole album is great.
>6/10
>Not something you would come back to
What even kinda rating scale do you use
Not him but I fucking loathe "rating" music with numbers with a burning fiery passion.
I will, and I'll listen to the whole album when I get a chance
not him but I agree so I should stop doing it
You're cancer, your remarkably surface-level knowledge of hip hop is cancer, and your taste is cancer
Fair enough. I love that song mostly for the lyrics but the production is really good too. I see where you're coming from
He did say it was pretty good, which implies over 5. 6 seems like a good score to me
Fetty Wap is the shit, you fedora faggot
Most of that underground shit is garbage
It just feels like it puts a stupid dampener on the art of the music itself. Like you can only have a certain enjoyment if it's a "6/10" or if it's an "8/10".
Like damn, who gives a fuck, just listen to the music, enjoy it, and get emotional about it. I don't care what number you gave it.
So many people are so obsessed with rating albums, I just don't get it.
I don't see what's so confusing about it. It's am above average song and a very competently made one but, ultimately, it's a song that I would rarely willingly play due to lack of really impressive features. Hence the 6/10. Good but garden-variety good.
yeah it's hard to rate with numbers, it's much better to just say what you like and/or don't like about the album
