i read a lot of complex literature and i also like to listen to trap music. it's fun and i like what it does with melody. simply liking a certain type of music doesn't define your merit and worth as a person. anyone who thinks along these lines is usually pretty pretentious and you should shrug off their insecure misgivings and keep it moving.
