Kendrick Lamar- To Pimp A Butterfly
>2016 so far
Aesop Rock- The Impossible Kid

to be kind. haven't heard much from this decade that's so vast & expansive. it seems constantly like it's about to collapse under the weight of it's own sheer force and complexity. it's primal, beautiful, and animalistic. what about you user?

6/10

7/10

6/10

to be kind definitely sounds massive and dense, yea.
mine is probably Mural - Nectars of Emergence, for just about the exact opposite reasons. it's seemingly sparse and empty, but the delicate timbres and subtle movements and melodies sound so organic and beautiful in a way maximal stuff could never match.
roberts is good but she's a little too much to handle most of the time for me

...

...

I haven't listened to a lot of 2016 stuff. Not to say HJOL isn't good. But I doubt it will stay aoty.

You've probably already listened to him, but try Denzel Curry if you haven't already.

Honestly, no, at least not the ones I've heard. But then again, it took me a second listen to love Tempo, so you never know.

I might check out that Samaris album, even though I didn't have a good expeerience with their S/T, even though I was kinda in to the singles.

Also, thanks

Is one of those cover Au Hasard Balthazar?

i did my top 3 because some were basically tied

let me know what you think

>2014
lorenzo senni - superimpositions

>2015
ben ufo - live at factory, osaka - 26.09.15

not actually an album, but it's my most listened "release" of 2015 along with objekt's freerotation set.

who else is single and horny

also 2016 bounces between The Ship and Blackstar

Ya I've heard everything of his. I love Denzel, so good rec anyway.
Daughters just makes very expressive and explosive noise rock. They're an incredibly talented band and that album is their magnum opus. The guitar tones, the hellish vocals, the drum perfomances, it's all perfect. I loved Oblivion Access, 9.1/10 for me, but MTI is a 10.

im surprised that im still seeing TNGHT in peoples charts. Do you think its really aged all that well?

yea haha, someone's mentioed it before
