yes I know that but listening to their old stuff now and his voice just adds so much to the group. Mark and Travis are talented for sure, but Tom's singing is what set the band apart from everyone else and made the music more impactful. Just wish they stayed 2gether4ever
ok you're right. Thread over. Please don't cut me with your edges on the way out

He stretches out the last word of every line and I think it adds another layer to the composition. His voice is an instrument that no other band has in their arsenal.
Mark and Tom basically exemplify what people hate about 90s pop drivel and how it had infiltrated every fucking genre, punk metal etc. It was a fucking virus. It was what Agent Smith was upset about in The Matrix.
Travis on the other hand is simply a god tier drummer and there's no fucking denying it. One of the greatest crimes ever perpetrated against music is that he was confined to one of shittiest bands of all time.
James Morris
What about them is "90s pop drivel"? I think they were above all the cookie cutter bands simply because of Tom. Their new album and the short lived +44 experiment have that feel because of the absence of Tom.
Yes Travis is an excellent drummer and its not like they made him play a generic blast beat or funky primer every song. He was able to showcase his skills because of the success of Blink, and their success was due to Tom setting them apart

>listens to blink >calls other people edgy
fuck if you're going to listen to shitty pop punk at least be self aware about it
Samuel Rivera
>sees thread about "shitty pop punk" band >calls someone edgy for calling someone else edgy >edges multiply
do we keep going or nah?

i don't listen to pop punk bub, i can't possibly be edgy.
